I have become very suspicious as of the past two years as to what the real motives behind all of this are. It is hot topic up every few years. All I can come up with is it is a guaranteed, speedy way to boost the economy. Start even thinking about banning guns and people will flock. Demand for everything associated with guns goes up exponentially

I've thought of that as well. I don't think dems would do that though. They hate guns more than they want to help the economy.
