Additionally: The Cotton Bowl and Outback bowls are contractually obligated to take the SEC CG loser if they are no selected by the Cap One Bowl, depending on which division they are from.
So if Bama were to lose, Bama goes to Cotton if Capital One passes them in favor of A&M.
My guess: Bama wins, LSU to Cotton. Bama loses, LSU to Chick Fil A.

So if Bama wins, where does Ga go?
Cuz they aint going to the Outback bowl.

That's correct, graychef.
We are all pulling or UGA to beat Bama. But that could actually be a worse bowl situation for our Tigers, as it would lock LSU into the CFA Bowl.
If Bama wins, then LSU has a solid shot at the Cotton. And is a good maybe for the Cap One.

If cap one takes a&m, loser this weekend goes to cotton
Barrister may know about cap one, but he does not seem to know about entire sec bowl selection process
Fans of losing team this weekend will have NO desire to makes return bowl trip to atlanta, and team that good is not falling to outback bowl

I doubt Georgia goes to the Cotton if they lose.
Georgia to Outback, drops South Carolina to Chick-fil-a.

Not necessarily.
If UGA loses, then the Outback would be contractually obligated to take the East Division loser of the SEC CG, if the Cap One doesn't pick them.

I'm going to see a link to this outback-cap one claim

I'll post it if I find it again.
Here is the link to last year's bowl games.
Notice that the Cap One picked USCe over the SEC CG loser, UGA.

Not a chance in the world that you get a rematch between SCar & Clemson, when they just played this weekend

I really didn't want to state the obvious, but I'm glad you stepped up

How much money was spent on your education for that comment (or I should say lack of education)

You don't pass it up for the Texas matchup alone. Texas refuses to schedule them, this forces them to play.
UT will not allow its football team to be humiliated on national TV by the school they hate. Cotton will fold to UT's wishes and invite someone else, probably LSU.

Just remember this is a free site and that will get you comments like those. As far as meeting you for coffee forget it they are what I call
(keyboard warriors) will cuss you out call you stupid and ignorant,. but believe me they do not have the balls to meet you in person.
Thanks for the post. And by the way if the right defense would have been called that would not have happened

Right. So expect this if Bama beats UGA and OU is left out of the BCS by MACtion:
Sugar: UF vs. Rutgers/Kent State
Cap One: TAMU vs. Michigan
Cotton: LSU vs. OU
Outback: USCe vs. Northwestern
Chick-fil-A: UGA vs. Clemson

If kent state is bcs eligible this season, they HAVE to go to rose bowl
On phone so would be real tough to look up. Would likely send big 11 champ to new orleans

That is incorrect. Kent State and Rutgers/Louisville would be the choices for the Sugar Bowl with the Orange getting the left-over.
