Arkie has one so we should have one!
Top Notch Choices
Bob Stoops-This would be a great hire but it won't happen as Stoops will be declared clinically insane if he leaves OU. If Tennessee managed to pull this off it would be a major Home Run hire. My first choice
Charlie Strong- Louisville. Great Recruiter and an SEC guy. Good Defensive Mind. Needs to hire a good Offensive staff to be successful. My choice if we can't get Stoops
Jon Gruden- Very Unlikely. An NFL guy with only college experience as a GA for UT in 80s. He would be a home run hire though.
Chris Petersen-Boise State coach. Unlikely
Gary Patterson-TCU coach again Unlikely
Mike Gundy-Okie State coach. Okie state is his alma mater difficult to see him leaving Stillwater.
Other Choices
Bobby Petrino-UT has had enough trouble for a while we don't need another liability, so negative to Petrino.
Al Golden-Coach at Miami, I don't think this would be a very good hire. Golden is unproven having coached at Temple.
Jimbo Fisher- Coach at Florida State- Good coach but has underachieved at FSU. I highly doubt he leaves Tallahassee.
Kirby Smart- Current Defensive Coordinator at Alabama. Good coach and whether or not UT hires him he will end up being an HC somewhere. Hopefully not at UT we have had enough with Saban's stable boys.
Dan Mullen-Current coach at Mississippi State. Good option but he should not be UT's first or even second choice. If UT hired him I feel he would do well in Knoxville.
Willie Taggart-Western Kentucky coach. Helped Stanford develop Toby Gerhart as its RBs coach. Assigned recruiting grounds in Georgia, Florida, and Kentucky by Stanford. Apparently is well acquainted with GA and FL. I don't think I would want him but it would certainly be an interesting hire.
My Choice: Bob Stoops/Charlie Strong/Jon Gruden (In that order)
My Back Up- Gary Patterson
My "Bottom of the Barrel" Choice- Dan Mullen/Kirby Smart/Al Golden (In that order)
My "If All Hell Breaks Loose" Choice- Bobby Petrino/Houston Nutt/Phil Fulmer (In that order)

There's a better chance that Nick Saban will be at Tennessee next year than there is Phil Fulmer or Houston Nutt

Gary Andersen at Utah St.
Darrell Hazel at Kent St.

Big Fish

JG was a position coach at Pitt, WR I think. I think he held a couple more positions at a couple of other schools as well. too lazy to look it up though but I'm pretty sure about the Pitt thing.

Being a Nashviller I'm hearing the usial suspects daily. Earlier though, I was catching the OSU/UM replay and thought "what the hell is Tressell doing?". Sorry if someone else already mentioned.
