I am not sure if they are 7.1 but Steel Series are good headsets. I have some and like them so far.
The only headset I haven't owned yet are Astros and in order of quality I would say it goes...

I have LogiTech...they have been serviceable but they aren't real surround I don't think.

I hope thats not the order you think of sound quality. I hsd those steel series v1 and they don't hold my ax pro or x41s jock strap. I think the trittons are best as plastic quality goes. My TBs and the v1s both feel pretty cheap to me, but the x41s are a lot more comfy. I'm all about sound quality over anything else, though
