If SP is coaching I have no doubt we win, but this is a saints team that beat Atlanta and lost to KC
You sure about this?

SP was the coach in every one of these games, so let's stop with the "If SP were coach then we wouldn't have lost to KC" nonsense. Would we have? Maybe not, but we will never know and there is nothing in the history of SP as the Saints HC that tells us otherwise.
I think SP has been a great coach for us; however, we have played down to the level and lost to bad teams each year he has been here.

THEY WON'T BE A FACTOR, NORM!

We lost to the damn chiefs, nothing is a given

All valid points, have had some bad losses under SP but given the current situation the team is in, he has this team ready to go 100%. This has been a crazy year, nothing stays the same week to week

Really? One of the last games we didnt try to win

Is it really a foregone conclusion that we will win this game outright?
NO. not at all.
Its away, we are riding momentum, and its at 3 something.
This is a dangerous game. It will be alot closer than people think and, like everything else this season, it will be stressful as hell the entire time.
My advice: Dont get happy or upset in the first half. Because the second half is where we have struggled all season. The offense needs to keep their foot on the gas pedal. If we get up a touchdown or even 2, do not start trying to run the ball. It will kill us.

This is another must win. Every game the rest of the season is a must win. Lose and go home or in this case lose and start looking for next season. Saints have to come out early and dominate. No let up at all. They just get tougher as we get deeper into the season. Put on your mountain boots and follow me to the the top of mountain

I hiked once but I can't remember where or if I made it back.

Raiders coach Dennis Allen confirmed he'll stick with the same running back rotation he used last week.
Both Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson are expected to sit out at least one more game. That means Reece, who played on 77.3 percent of the snaps against the Ravens, will be the bell cow once again. He'll be supported by Jeremy Stewart and Taiwan Jones will be sprinkled in if he has a good week of practice. We can safely project another 10-15 carries and 4-7 catches for Reece.
Marcel Reece?!? Dennis Allen must be replaying the end of the 2010 Saints all running backs out and signing guys off the street nightmare.

Couldn't help but think of the McKenzie and McCallister pick-up off the streets to blowout the Patriots on Monday night. Tom Terrific was benched midway through the 4th quarter. Belichick was defeated mentally.
What a magical time for Saints fans.
Back to the topic on hand, I really feel we will dominate defensively. Palmer will help with bad throws. We will get an early 2 score lead and make their offense one dimensional, in which we will surrender lots of garbage yards but hold on for the win.

With both starting safeties out, the Raiders could move cornerback Michael Huff back to free safety, which would necessitate putting either Joselio Hanson, Brandian Ross, Coye Francies or Phillip Adams into the starting lineup opposite Ron Bartell.
Ross and Francies are predominantly special teams players. The Raiders cut Pat Lee, a starting cornerback for seven games in Bartell's absence, to make room for Bartell, with Allen citing the special teams work of the other cornerbacks.
Lee is not an option to be brought back,
having been claimed on waivers by the Detroit Lions.
The Raiders put cornerback Shawntae Spencer on injured reserve Saturday with an injured foot, ending his season.
Mike Mitchell, primarily a strong safety, is available to replace Branch if necessary. Branch has not missed a game in his Raiders career.

In the past six games vs. Oakland, QB Drew Brees is 6-0 and has completed 112 of 159 passes (70.4%) for 1,248 yards with 13 TDs, 0 INTs for a 120.7 rating.

he was the preferred choice over Greer at the time. Prolly more cuz he had more established track record.
Spags wanted him in STL. Had a major neck injury that kept him out almost all 2011. Signed a one year show-me deal in Oakland.

Hope the raiders bring some lube, because Brees is going to bend that defense over big time

I hope it looks like the pre-season game we had against them a few years back.
