Football only?
Faneca or Mawae. Corey Webster has had a good run so far along with many others already named.
You said Pro so if its any sport: Shaq or Pistol

I agree with the standard names for best pro of the previous posts, but i never hear Todd McClure's name. He is still starting under center for the Falcons after being drafted in 1999. He has only missed one start since 2000.

I was coming here to say Todd McClure just because he seems to be left out of this convo usually

Corey Webster is another good one, sorry guys I was talking about football but only said pro instead on NFL.

If you bring all of "pro" sports into the equation there is pretty much no argument at all. SHAQ hands down right ?

Joe Addai should have been the SB MVP ... or, at a minimum, co-MVP with the other RB whose name escapes me.
Manning getting that MVP was and is a crock of shiite.

like they say it is Faneca and Mawae(sp?) would be right behind him but I think if Bowe ever had a QB worth a shite he'd be the next in line.

Definately FANECA.....all the pro bowls and offensive lineman awards not to mention he will be in the HOF sooner the later,,,,by far hes the best pro out of LSU, but KEVIN FAULK is prolly the decorated with the superbowl wins he has,

If you are saying not currently active but in the last decade it has to be Faneca
It really just has to be. There is no other LSU player in 25 years with a comparable reputation as an NFL player. One of the top 5 offensive guards of all time in the NFL - that's up there with YA Tittle and Jimmy Taylor.
Heck, Faneca might be the best NFL player LSU has ever produced.

Whitworth is better than Faneca? I wouldn't put money on that.
Posted on 11/13/12 at 3:51 pm to WhoDat985
Last ten years and retired: Faneca
Last ten years and still playing: Ryan Clark with Webster coming in a close second.
