Cody Glenn is my sleeper for the Sunday spot. I'm really hoping this kid finds his groove and shows why he was a Top 10 round draft pick. But realistically, it is just as likely some new kid we've never heard of before comes in and takes the Sunday spot. Alan Dunn can work some magic.

This I can get on board with. If anything Glenn will at least start weekdays.

This is why I enjoy talking about baseball on this board. A majority of posters don't care about it so they don't comment. But near all of the people that do talk about it know it.

Can't wait.

Yea I may have to take some time off and go for a few days. I always enjoy the tournament, partially because LSU owns that tournament

The SEC tournament is also fun because you get to see (sometimes) just as good as baseball being played as there is in the CWS. Also, you get to see players from other teams that you've seen play all season (or all their careers) that you know almost as good as you know your own players. Just some quality college baseball at it's finest here in the SEC.

Offense should be strong - hitting and on the bases.

Starting pitching takes a little dip. #1 and #2 starters should be real strong, but not sure about Sunday's starter yet. Keep hearing about Cotton, but I like him as a Setup Man.

We host a Regional and Super. We get to Omaha and go 2-2.

I would really like to see Cotton closing. He was about as lights out as could be last season.

Also I'm ready to pump the frick out of some sunshine when we inevitably lose 2 out of 3 to Washington or Maryland or get swept by brown.

I know hitting wasn't what we are used to last year, but Javi coached the 2009 hitters to one of the best years in LSU history. Also he worked extensively with Micah Gibbs at catcher.
I heard another reason Manieri keeps him around is recruiting. Y'all can lemme know if I'm wrong but apparently he does a great job in that area.
