Thinking about the Blue Grass Miracle after watching the channel 9 piece...

Would the program look the exact same... 7-2 currently in 2012? Would things be totally different? Coaches be the same? Same players?

Butterfly effect in case you dont know...

(In chaos theory, the butterfly effect is the sensitive dependence on initial conditions, where a small change at one place in a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences to a later state. The name of the effect, coined by Edward Lorenz, is derived from the theoretical example of a hurricane's formation being contingent on whether or not a distant butterfly had flapped its wings several weeks before.)

that isn't the game to use. shut out the next week if I remember correctly

I would say the UF 07 or Auburn 07 wins....where are we if one goes the other way?

Miles might not even be here.

Prob not. Which is my whole argument on when people say we win in spite of miles. Well if Miles was never hired or was let go, this team wouldnt be the same, wouldnt have same coaches or players. Yet people act as if this team just needs a new coach. Forget all the hard work on the recruiting trail miles staff has put in over the years.

What if Auburn had beaten Alabama in 2001, or Tennessee had beaten Florida in 2001. In the former, Auburn would have won the SEC West that year. In the latter ,its highly unlikely LSU would have beaten Florida in the SECCG that year. Doubt LSU would have beaten Oklahoma in the Cotton.

An 8-5 or 8-4 mark in '01 vs 10-3 and SEC Champs was "that close".

What if we mounted a long sustained drive at the end of the Fla 1993 game to make it 58-10?

What if Matt Mauck had not been playing in the 4th quarter of a blow out of UF, there would never have been a Blue Grass Miracle.
