I don't know why everyone is assuming this points more to a trade. LA having superior trainers and training facilities is a reasonable assumption.

So you think there are better trainers and doctors in New Orleans than Los Angeles? Now that is bull.

The same place that could not get his injury right? I'm pretty sure there are good places to rehab out here but if he feels he should be out there, then it is what it is. As long as he his out there rehabbing and working his arse off and not bullshitting, then I'm all for it.

There are so many legit reasons for him to rehab out of town.
- Better facilities/trainers.
- Monty not wanting to answer questions from reports who see Gordon riding the bike at practice.
- Demps wanting him away from the team until he's ready to play so people will stop talking about signing Gordon being a mistake.
- Gordon not wanting to rehab in a place he will get booed for the next 4-6 weeks.

Him being completely away for a month plus isn't going to make either of these better. It opens up more questions:
-"How's he going to be the leader of this team when he's barely even been around them for most of his time here"?
-"Monty, are you following Gordon's progress? How often do you talk to him"?

I guess you conspiracy theorists missed this part of my post:
Or does this just mean that the Hornets medical staff hates New Orleans too?

Hornets medical staff arranged for Eric Gordon to have a more intense rehab on his right knee in LA starting this week. Still out 4-6 weeks.

It opens up more questions:
I think it opens up different questions rather than more questions. Out of sight, out of mind. They're not going to ask as many questions if he's not at the facility every day to remind reporters he's not playing.
I think it's neutral evidence that really doesn't shed any light on the situation at all. Even if he comes back in 4-6 weeks and plays great will it be the rehab, or was he faking and Demps convinced him to play ball until he could be traded? I don't think the faking question goes away until he either gets traded or is still a Hornet at the start of next season.

December 15th can't come soon enough

I think this guy should be nicknamed the Abominable Snowman, or Bigfoot -- as in, some folks claim to have seen him, but the vast majority of us haven't.

EG is a POS.
He is worthless. So much that I don't even have to spell out the words, you know what I mean.

New Orleans has pretty good rehab facilities.

You are going to look really foolish when he's finally traded.

Maybe the fact that he's been going to "pretty good" facilities rather than great facilities is part of the problem? This team has never been one that has good health.

and much of the board will look very foolish when he gets healthy and plays.
two way street.
but those who were bashing him the entire time will be the first to say "OH, NO, i always hoped he would stay and be great!!!!!!!"

I do hope that he gets healthy, stays, and is great.
That doesn't mean I like him.
