They could probably both have the # as long as they both aren't on the field at the same time.
It'd be great if "Rettig is in at running back now for LSU" is our new "OMG IS RP IN ON SPECIAL TEAMS?!?!?!"

I have a really good feeling about this kid. His level of LSU pride is amazing already.

Time to start Spencer Ware to the NFL threads?
If he does make the jump, I'm pulling for the guy.
Last time I talked to Dural, he said that he is going for #11, if Ware leaves. Once Bolden is gone, he wants #1.

Pretty sure he's gone. Id go to if I was him. He'll get drafted. He's the kind if back NFL teams nowadays love, big, can catch, great at pass protection.
Recently only the heisman type rbs get drafted high. Dont see him being able to rise his stock when we have a crowded backfield.

He's a 6'3" 17 year old who's constantly active. He can probably eat 7000 calories a day and not put on weight.
Once he gets on campus, he'll fill out. Don't worry about it, just be excited that he already bleeds purple and gold.

Look at how frail Stephen Rivers was when he got to campus. He has put a good bit of weight on in 18 months.

Everyone seems to be annointing this cat. Does Jennings not have a chance to be the better of the 2?
And I think it's good for these 2 incomings that Mett will probably be back. They will have a year to catch up with Rivers and Randall. Though, if all stays on the same course, it appears Rivers will be next in line for '14. But he won't have a ton of in-game experience as an advantage barring a Mett injury.
And where does Bolden fit in? Though he didn't play well at Penn State his final year, he clearly has talent and with a full year in the program combined with his already accumulated experience, he could jump.Rivers for #2 going into next year which would give him the inside track to start going into '14. But so many things can happen with transfers, injuries, etc...that anything could wind up happening. I do k ow that we'll be as talented at QB 1-4/5 than anytime I can remember, and that can only be a good thing. Future looks bright.

Rettig and Jennings will both be probably two years behind Rivers, Bolden, and Randall. It will be a while before we have to worry about who is the "annointed one."

Honestly, I like Jennings...actually, I like Jennings alot...I am interested in the competiton between he and Rettig....they both are capable QB's...we will just have to wait and see how they transition to the college game.

The postings about this kid's weight are so fricking stupid
With or without Moff's conditioning, the kid has an amazing arm. He wins out over Jennings and will be GREAT.
