it will juggle some after the january meeting when schools play up....
could force the "schools close to the bottom or tops of some classes - up or down"
but thanks for posting.

doesn't seem like to much has changed. I see Uhigh moved up to 3a. While Redemptorist went down to 1a. The Nola schools all loo the same.

Looks like St.Aug enrollment has dropped a bunch.

that trend is gonna continue.....unfortunately.
I know 8 st aug alums who have kids at carrolton and banks and elysian fields...

With Uhigh being the smallest 3a school they may end up back in 2a if any schools choose to play up. Which may happen with either Curtis or Evangel.

Any specific reason? That's a little surprising.

5 upset with the direction of the school - the no paddling thing is a big deal but.. for a long time the arch diocese kept their hands, eyes, ears and mouths off ap tureaud st.. not anymore...
2 specifically - don't like crutch....
and I forgot about one former Purple knight whose kid is at HC.... HC being in gentilly is hurting st aug A LOT...

I don't see any reason for Curtis to play up. They will be in an even worse district if they are paired with the New Orleans district.

at least 3 4a schools moving UP so - that could pretty likely keep uhigh in 3a..
LHSAA likes having 60 per class...

Haynes in Old Metairie has drained enrollment from all the nonpublic schools in that area, most notably Rummel, Crescent City, Ridgewood, and Ecole Classique.
Chalmette has nearly 1,000 more students than they did a decade ago, but a worse football team.
Coach Salt at EJ is breathing a sigh of relief as they were about 20 kids away from 5A
5 LA schools would be in Texas 5A, Denham Springs, West Monroe, Byrd, Jesuit, and Lafayette.
I lost count of how many Texas schools would be in our 5A

really hope they get a playoff win... but... their draw is not a good matchup...

I think it's funny that Jesuit has as many kids as the smallest 5a school, and it's all boys.
It's also probably getting close to time for a new HS on the south side of Lafayette.

I always wondered why Lafayette high was so big, are there no other public schools in the city?
They seem to have a bunch of large enrollment private schools.

Lafayette High is just the most centrally located of the schools in Lafayette parish. They've got Northside, Carencro, Acadiana, and Comeaux. 4 of the 5 are 5A enrollment and 2 of those are in the top 7 or 8 in the state in terms of enrollment.
The population in the southern part of the parish has exploded though.
