If LSU wins will SEC be in Nat. Champ?

I am curious about what others think, if LSU wins against Bama will the SEC have anyone play in the national championship. Could this be the year that the streak comes to an end? I know K State does not have that many more challenges and Oregon or Notre Dame hold on until the end. Just a thought.

2 out of Kansas State, Oregon, and Notre Dame have to lose.

Who gives a shite about the NC game. This game is bigger than the NC even if we are in it.

That is why Slive and the SEC will tip the scales for an undefeated SEC team.... Major $$$$$$$ on the line

this is the national championship game. unless there's a rematch.

And which one of those would have had a more difficult schedule than beating Bama once and Florida twice?

I think there is so much media bias against the SEC that it would be difficult for a 1-loss team fromt he SEC to get in...all three espn announcers predicted no SEC team in miami and all cited "SEC fatigue"....
I think we could get in, but we would have to win convincingly in the remaining 4 games...
I honestly think we are playing for sugar....

Notre Dame and Kansas State both have pretty good schedules.
A 1 loss SEC team will not get in over an undefeated team. It's not even a possibility.

Theres no possible way a one loss team plays in the title game if 2 of the 3 teams previously mentioned are perfect at the end.

If this game is bigger than the NC then I guess the loss against Bama didn't matter. Its all about the NC. At the end of the year its only about who has the crystal ball.

One rule is very clear to any college football enthusiast. The rule is: In any year that an SEC Team has one or no losses that SEC Team automatically qualifies for the National Championship.
Last year proved the existence of such rule. Due to the strength, power, athleticism, and ability of an SEC team, it is a given. That is why I do not want an SEC team to ever lose, except when playing the LSU Fighting Tigers. LSU first, SEC second, I am third.
My only hope with the playoff system is, when two SEC teams make it to the four team playoff system, those two teams are not forced to play each other in the first round.

I think there is a good chance that won't happen but knowing the history of college football those teams who are having the best season in school history always seem to lay an egg one game and loose it.
