How do you fell abotu this? I think we coudl get him cheap, and i think he would be a steal moving back to a true DT in a 4-3

so what about him besides the first half of his last year at LSU makes you think he'd be a steal at DT in a 4-3.

Ellis has been better during the course of their careers.

KC fans will argue he's been a bigger bust than Ellis fo sho

Minimum for him will be $715K

Can't say I'd want him or want him away. If Loomis took a team friendly deal on a tryout flyer I'd support it. Otherwise he might be an oopstion.

Herm Edwards from Day 1 when he was with KC misused Dorsey. He basically said we're going to tell Dorsey NOT to penetrate and go after the QB or RB, just basically hold his position. Dorsey's quickness was his best asset.

I think Dorsey stops the run better than Ellis.

doesn't mean I want to shell out $$ for KD though.

Neither is in a D that really plays to their strengths, so you're really splitting hairs when you say who has been better.

I'd say Ellis has only had 1 season where he played at an acceptable level for his draft position.

Well jsut as a start better than Ellis. But I think he has been out of position his entire career, and would benefit from a move to a 4-3 DT. I also think we coudl get him for cheap. So steal.

If you can get him cheap, that probably says something, no?

I don't think he's our answer there, but I think he could be more effective here in a 4-3

Man if we get Dorsey, Mingo, Hicks and Jordan starting... they can be called the 3 Tigers and a Gay Guy.
