deal ?

I don't believe you

It is easy to predict that Bama is going to win this game...they are by far and away the favorites.

If LSU loses, it isn't going to be because of Miles. It is going to be because Bama made one or two big plays when it counted the most. Same if LSU wins, it will be because someone stepped up when it counted (again like RR in 2010). This game will be a close on and will go one way or the other in the 4th quarter.

Sorry I said something about your boyfriend that you didn't like. I explained myself in earlier posts. Miles doesn't need to out coach Saban, just have a solid plan and coach a descent game and we'll be ok

Im not saying he has to "out coach" Saban either, but I will give the man credit where credit it due. He's made plenty of national champion coaches look pretty foolish during his career.

The man has a certain philosophy that ends up paying off way more often than not. He's one of the best head coaches in the country so saying he hardly ever out coaches anyone is simply ignorant.

Here is where we part ways. I believe that Miles is the MOST accountable. The weakest part of LSU's team this year (and over the last several years) is the offense. Miles is the top offensive coach. HE is accountable for the offenses lack of production, offensive game planning, preparation, focus and mid-game adjustments. Miles is responsible and nobody else. And that part of this team has underperformed pretty consistently. As the local and national media says is true...if LSU had an offensive philisophy that was more flexible and could do more things, nobody would beat us.

They are Miles' recruits. Its Miles' offense. If we don't convert 3rd downs and be flexible to adapt to what Bama is doing and we lose...

It's Les Miles' fault. Plain and simple.

To say he makes them look foolish is ridiculous. He has a plan and sticks to it and it works, but to say he's out coaching people his dumb. You seldom have to out coach the other guy to win when you're at lsu because we're so much better than everyone else, it's a huge advantage, same goes for Saban. All I'm saying is he doesn't out coach people, he has a plan and sticks to it and he wins a lot, that doesn't mean he's out strategizing the other coach. The guy never averts from the game plan when we get in trouble, that's a fact, he's always lost when things start to unravel

My point with what I said was I believe this will be a well played battle until the end. If we come up on the short end of a 9-6 game, I am probably not going to say "This is Miles' fault. I will say we failed to make a big play or two and Bama did make a big play or two. Just like last year in BDS.

This is not always true. Miles can't catch a pass. We have had multiple WRs wide open for TDs on perfect play calls and the passes were overthrown. Again, Miles can't throw passes either. Lack of execution is not always on the coach.

I was never a Miles fan, but in a game that he knows he could lose and not just 'out talent' the other team, he will coach his arse off.

Miles knows how to beat Saban. He is the only coach in the country that does and doesn't get intimidated. I think he will be spot on in his decisions in this one.

absolutel. Did you see how cool this cat is on tv yesterday? Les ain't worried about a damn thing, and it's not because he doesn't care about the outcome.

Everyone keeps talking about this. Is the video online? I'd really like to see it.

this game is tailor made for Les if for no other reason than it always seems he can steal the soul of an opponent with his dufus rope a dope routine.

Dooley, Urban, Tubberville, etc. The Reaper is due for a return to Death Valley.

The "Mad Hatter" returns! Keep this under the table. Only Tiger fans need to know what's coming. We know our coach very well. He will break out his A game just like his players. LSU always seems to rise to the occassion when they are united. Jan. 9th will soon be forgotten. Geaux Tigers!

That 'plan' that he sticks to is coaching!!! Do you have a clue what actually goes into being a head coach? It's not just play calling. That's what you can't seem to understand. You judge Miles completely based on his ability as a play caller. That's such a small part of what a head coach does, and most head coaches have nothing to do with the actual in-game play calling.

Making other coaches look foolish include his many 4th down calls, trick plays, etc. He's become VERY well known for that.

We've also had some of the best offensive numbers in LSU history under Miles' tenure btw...just saying.

And I'm not saying he can't be out coached, but it almost never happens and it won't happen Saturday

Saban probably gets outcoached a couple times a year

You just don't notice it because like Miles he has the talent to disguise it
