I seriously have never seen so many Bama fans from Mississippi than the past 2 years.. and about 75% of them are female.

People that have nothing to live for tend to jump on band wagons of what ever Team, Person or group that is in power to feel like they have power. It is the same reason that people liked Miami ( the U) back in the 80's and 90's and the reason that people gravitate to teams such as the Yankees, Cowboys, Steelers, Lakers, etc. but have no connection to that team.
