Not too crazy to think that most if not all could return for next year.

Sure, could be. Plus looking at the play of Jalen as as an example, we've got young guys to take up the slack for whoever goes. Amazing he is a true freshman.

Minter is an OLB in the nfl, imo

Montgomery is the only that should leave.

Mingo and Minter could leave if they want to...

The rest need to stay if they want a better draft status.

^ exactly what I was going to post.

Few times I think a player should leave early unless it benefits them such as Ridley, MC.

We know the players that could go but right now feel all should stay but S99 if he has a chance.

Only one gone for sure is......
Montgomery- could've gone last season but stayed. I'm thinking since he has had an ACL injury in the past, and we all know what happens when players try and come back for another year, injuries do occur and production could drop. He's a top 10 pick, he's gone.

Iffy....basically will these guys be locks for first round is the question?

Mingo- Was projected to be a top 5-10 guy, at this point he would go in the first but idk about that early. Production hasn't been there and with his size he needs that.

Reid- Hasn't played up to his potential so far, I'm not sure if he's a lock to be a first rounder at this moment. In terms of talent/potential, similar to Mingo.

Minter- probably won't be a first this year based on size, but production is there, could be interesting.

Logan- if first round, he's a goner

Will be staying IMO....

Barrow- prob a 4-6 round pick at best

Loston- prob a 5-7 round pick at best

Simon- has said he wants to be first rounder, would be a 2nd-3rd rounder this year.

Another question is, what if Ford/Ware do very well in the back half of the season. They've been on NFL scouts radars since they were freshman, do they take a jump based on the fact that the backfield is loaded at LSU? A lot of RB's are drafted in the middle rounds and get good opportunities to show what they've got on sundays.

Not to mention they would have an extra year or two to build up a career in the pros. Not something I'm expecting but it could happen.

I've seen two or three mock drafts that have Reid as a 1st round pick.

There is no doubt that if Reid wanted to get paid he could but selfish and hope he is back, he would be huge for the team next year.

Good news is that nobody will probably leave early on offense this year.

So have I. Interesting I haven't seen/heard much about Logan but DT's always creep up boards as the draft nears, DE's are always the ones who receive the hype.

Reid will go if he is a first rounder because he will be already graduated, right?

Wouldn't that be something if they all come back, Tyrann returns, and Mett improves and becomes a steady QB for 2013. I know, dreaming, but man it would be nice.

Yes, that would be so awesome, but I'm not holding my breath. It's ok, we'll be just fine.

If you're saying Loston is staying - I can tell you straight up that he's not planning on it.

But then again, the season he's having may ditacte that he stays.

This!

Plus Ware, and maybe Ford.

Guys don't have to be first rounders to consider going. Minter's stock may never be higher than it is right now. MLB's rarely go in the first round, but a good third round grade will probably be enough to make him declare. Sam goes for Logan. What you have to remember about these two guys is that they have already been here for four years.

Ware and Ford may go because of lack of touches next year. Won't be able to improve stock next year, so if they can get a third or fourth round grade, they probably will go.

Your hate for Simon is getting old. Is he playing as good as Peterson or Claiborne? Not at all. But they were the #5 and #6 pick in the draft. He is still having a solid season playing the #1's on every team. Laugh on draft day.
