Sucks to be your friends.

What'd you expect to happen? You could've looked at the last 5 years as a small sample, and could've figured out LSU was probably going to have a bye late October.

don't listen to these jerks.

I actually got married on 11/5 last year, we set the date (and by we, we all know who makes that decision) 18 months out. I knew it was possible but I was hopeful it was the bye week, didn't really do my homework i guess.

Luckily, my wedding was an afternoon affair and the bama game got pushed to the evening and I got to watch the second half in the wedding suite which, considering we won, is something I'll never forget.

It was the best day of my life, no joke.

Like everyone else has said. That's your own fault for having a fall wedding. And shame on you if your fiance made you do it.

There's a reason my wife planned our wedding between the SECCG and the beginning of bowl season.

You picked a Saturday, during football season, to get married on?

Wedding in NYC so had to plan 18 months out. Plus she is a surgery resident so we didn't have many options.

This.

Every man at that wedding will hate you.

But seriously, put big screens up everywhere.

I'm sure your friends were excited as well. And the people on here aren't being jerks about this, a fall wedding in our culture is selfish. End of story.
