Scenario: Beat Bama in a close game, they still don't drop below us in the BCS

Oregon and Bama play for the MNC, LSU wins the SEC and gets shut out. Realistic? I ask because the computers are not friendly to us.

GTFO with this shite.

Voters would rebel the last week and move Bama into the teens if they have to.

They will be more friendly to us at 11-1 than they would Bama @ 11-1.
ETA: We would play in the SEC Championship regardless of where we were in the BCS, so 12-1 LSU would go 100 times out of 100 over Bama.

No way, but when it goes to 4 teams, get ready...

After last season, I'm convinced that nothing is impossible with Bama and the polls

No way. We beat them, they drop below us. How far, who knows but they drop below us.
One game at a time though, let's take care of our business first.

Computers are not friendly to us?
They'd sure be a lot more friendly than they are now with wins over a&m, state, Bama, and the East winner. Zero chance 11-1 Bama goes over 12-1 SEC champion LSU. Absolutely zero.

Human voters is 2/3rds of the polls
so to answer your question, I seriously doubt our computer score would be so low after beating bama AND the SEC champion, that we would not be ahead of them
maybe a 1% chance

It's possible Bama stays ahead of us in the scenario you just presented. But as long as we win out and win in the conference title game, we will vault ahead of them
Posted on 10/15/12 at 3:16 pm to Jim Rockford
Human polls will decide BCS, not the computers.

Our SOS will continue to improve. Plus if we win SECCG game it would be a near lock.

On a scale of 1 to 10 of shite to worry about, this doesn't even register.
