A non factor against a patchwork OLine last nite. Montgomery and Mingo are just as effective as he is!

Clowney was all over the field. That dude is a legit talent. He made plays all night.

He was big, when he wasn't sucking oxygen.

Um, he's still a stud and a true sophomore. Shoe in for the NFL in a year or two.

Dude is a beast. Any team in college football ( even the nfl) would love to have him. Lsu just played hard and had a good gameplan against him

How many passes did he slap down?

I said the same thing but I was drunk and didn't watch it on TV.
ETA: he was a force all night, but not a playmaker.

We ran opposite of him all night, and we double teamed him when he got into the backfield. He's good but not a superhuman.
He still batted down about 3 passes and made some spectacular downfield tackles coming from the line of scrimmage.

We effectively schemed around him. I'm watching the replay now, and he was still all over the field.

I don't doubt that, but he had 0 sacks against a bad OLine! You have to make plays every week not just every other week.

Sure would have liked to see him in Purple and Gold!!

Maybe the patchwork OL was better that we expected. Clowney was successfully contained for the most part but his presence was certainly felt. Knocked down a couple of passes, didn't he? Or was it one?

Bad line??? huh LSU had over 100 yard rushing MORE than anyone else has against them. I think we now have a pretty damn good line. 1 Sack that could have been avoided.
