In the redzone last night we did pull out a double move and Jarvis Landry was wide open for days. Mett over threw him. Should have been an easy touchdown. If we score that TD, I don't think there are quite as many complaints today. That was a PERFECT play call.

Yeah, he was not at his best accuracy-wise last night. It appears he has not earned the right to check out of bad play calls at the LOS, either. It was a great win, but when considers all the little things that happened, including missing a relatively easy FG and offsides on 4th and 4inches on the goal line, it just continues to bring out the coulda, shoulda scenarios. That was a dominating team performance that should not have been undecided until 18 seconds were on the game clock.

Could be enjoying a damn blow out if they could find a way to score.

I like how half you tards thought LSU had no chance in this game. Many people thought LSU was headed for a 7-5 season. Now all those same people are pissed because we didn't blow out the number three team in the country. Some of you people will NEVER be happy.

I just wanted to personally thank you for your superior support and positive attitude and faith when some of us had so much doubt. What a game. It was what we all knew they could be. And it can even be better. I can not tell you how proud of this football team I am.

i don't see how anyone can defend what happened in the red zone last night. It kept South Carolina in the game even with our dominating performance

you realize people are capable of holding more than 1 thought in their head at the same time?

I can be thrilled with the way the team played, the crowd, and the win while worrying about our red zone deficiencies.

It's a setup for Bama. We'll do play action passes with roll outs to Shepard who is a mismatch against any linebacker he faces.

I'd love to see us run the same play that USC did last night to #1 Sanders for a TD where he's against our strong safety Loston. No strong safety or LB can keep up with him 1 on 1.

Glad we could talk on Sunday

I think the confidence is going to go through the roof for these guys heading into Kyle field. There will not be a let down and hen an off week to heal up some nicks. And then...

11/3. I can't wait to be in TS that night.

I'm so hoarse I can barely talk today.

What we saw last night was second to none in terms if atmosphere and just a brilliant inspired performance by this team.

I think you stole my post from another thread
I love how people think there are only two ways of thinking, each at the opposite extreme

ETA: P&G86 seemed to be agreeing

I seriously couldn't care less about what you are or aren't thrilled about. I'm just voicing my opinion and this game was not close because of the inability to score TD in the red zone. One more time...without the punt return, pick, and missed FG we win this game by 20.

It isnt rational to think we should score TDs in the red zone 80 percent if the time joust because a few other teams do. It's also not rational to think we can't beat Bama with FGs. See 11/5/12

you obviously do when you keep responding with hostility to anyone who isn't sucking the red zone offense's dick.

and if we score a touchdowns in the red zone, we win the game by 20. There are plenty of things that affect the game. Our red zone offense was one of them.

maybe not, but with the way our oline dominated the game we should expect better than 20%

making a comment like this is just delusional:

The only two things that were a cause for concern last night were the interception

we need to be better in the red zone, and I don't think Les would disagree

A little off subject, but the funny thing here is that we're usually the ones that stay in the game with big plays on defense and special teams, while being outgained (in years past).

LSU has scored 2 touchdowns in 11 red zone appearance vs. SEC teams

So I don't expect 80%, but we have to get better than 18%

I was surprised we still had the issue last night with the way the oline played

Mmm, yeah, that's right.

the Zebra Cake Zone. ESPN will start highlighting from the 20 to the endzone with zebra stripes to give Stud his due.

I agree 100%.

Funny, as appose to my normal routine, I was surprisingly quiet. (nervous as hell)

Again, agree and in my mind why some have been so frustrated. But what a damn good effort they brought. I'm so frickin' proud.
