Anyone else pumped for tomorrow? Interested to see what's gonna happen with Tommy's character.
I actually am. You can't turn Tommy into a world class archer/assassin overnight so I'm assuming he'll eventually be some type of kingpin character(I don't mean THE Kingpin).

Tommy sucks.
And Laurel can't handle a shotgun.

I respect his decision at the end and understand that he's upset but I hope they don't go full villain with him now. At this point, he's deeper than I initially thought his character ever would be so I hope they are a little creative with his direction.
I'm really looking forward to where the Roy subplot is heading and hopefully Shado isn't killed in the past as I'd like to see the current version of her showing up in Starling City in the finale or next season.
Continues to be consistently well written show.

this episode and the supernatural episode this week were both worthy, this show continues to rock

Agreed. Really enjoyed the episode. If it stays this consistent and the characters are well-developed, I'm really looking forward to what this show will be in a few seasons. That is if it doesn't get canned.

ratings have been constant, maybe not amazing, but constant. The CW is also more interested in created a "cult following" than "killer ratings" for the most part - it's why shows like Nikita have gone on for 3 seasons even though their ratings are abysmal, it's because Nikita has a cultural following, which helps with the WB as a brand.
I would actually say that Warner Brothers makes 5 times more money from their tv productions on other stations than on the CW.. but it's still very important for them to keep their brand high.. in doing so, they are able to market at a much more stellar rate across the board.

Arrow's been successful on the print side for DC as well. Green Arrow comic sales have risen and they're about to reprint some trades of the older material to capitalize on the momentum from the show.
I don't think Arrow's going away anytime soon.

exactly, a lot of people don't really understand how theCW programming works.. it's easily the closest "network" station to how Cable TV shows work.. except in a more.. screwed up way.
I think of Warner Bros. as the Samsung / Sony of the Entertainment world. They make sooo much money off of so many different avenues, that TheCW itself is only a piece of the puzzle.. it ends up being great for people that watch shows like Supernatural or Smallville, because you end up getting some great TV, even after the ratings have dropped enough to justify the show being cancelled.. in that regards - theCW is the closest thing you get to an old school TV show setup.. the show might actually survive past 4 seasons, just because theCW is always hoping for better ratings.. and giving development teams "2nd chances"

Spot on my friend. Can you imagine if Chuck would've landed on CW instead of NBC? Although CW wasn't very kind to Reaper they have by and large treated "cult" favorites very well. Plus we probably would've gotten some Chuck comics too but I digress.

I might be mistaken on this, but I don't think Warner produced Reaper. Networks are less kind to shows their studio doesn't produce, because they don't stand to make anything off the afterlife of the series (streaming, DVD sales, etc).
Even if Arrow's ratings dip, it will get more chances, because all of Warner Bros stands to gain the longer the show is on the air. Vertical integration. Jack Donaghy would be proud.

they didn't, it was an ABC produced show, and it was while SyFy was undergoing it's rebranding.. and the 2 main characters even said they wouldn't come back for a season 3 anyways..
all in all, Reaper was kinda a cluster frick that was destined to fail after season 2.. if nothing else, Reaper might have taught WB to work more in their own departments after Reaper than they had in the past.

If only NBC hadn't changed it's strategies so many times over the last 15 years.. could you imagine?!

But NBC doesn't own any properties like DC Comics. Warner Bros and Disney are uniquely positioned to do certain things that other networks just can't.

This week's episode
This week proves to me that we move past the book into what was going on, on the island next season

The little vacation the show took sucked but it came back with a bang these last two weeks. I'm ready for Roy to have a moment with OQ and they keep teasing bludhaven night wing will make a appearance mark my words.
