I have been an huge LSU fan (and still am), but with all of this talent (or so-called talent), what is wrong with the offense?

Why can't we move the ball? Is it the predictable play calling that all the other coaches have figured out?

I just dont see Miles making any adjustments throughout any of the games we have already been through.

No imagination, dumbed down the play book after Crowton and to stubborn to change it after 1-9.

It is obvious to me as an outsider that LSU does not have someone on staff that is capable of developing a QB or understanding how to utilize the talent that LSU has available.

The QB situation is an ongoing problem so it has to be coaching. LSU has top recruits in that position but they never seem to improve. Also, the offensive schemes seem to reamin the same and you just cant do that in this league, you have to be able to change things up.

Just my opinion and I like Coach Miels a lot but I think he needs to make some monor changes. I do not thing the program is a dumpster fire like most of the morons on here. In my opinion LSU still probably has the best defense in college football right now but you can't leave them on the field all day and expect them to win it for you. LSU must have an offense that can move the ball down the field and get first downs and come away with some points in oreder for the defense to win championships.

All is not lost and the season still has a chance for a natty because I think we will all have loses at the end of regular season.

Just my opinion.

Where to begin... Inexperienced QB with poor pocket presence, No recievers stepping up in place of Randle, Injured and inexperienced Offensive line, Ball security.

The Offense is going through alot of growing pains obviously. We should have been throwing 30-40 times against North Texas, Idaho, Towson and even Washington. Coaches had chances to get tons of LIVE in-game reps, expose Mett to more looks, and improve chemistry/timing. instead we averaged 22 attempts in those 4 games.

WR's can't catch, bad and predictable situational play calling, poor clock management, injury's on the offensive line, and Blue's injury

1) we can't block
2) WRs don't catch consistently

When asked his viewpoint on our WR's inability to catch a ball after the UF debacle, the current head coach of LSU was quoted as saying: "I don't know." I think that is his most honest answer ever. And it could likely be spread over any and all such questions about LSU's struggling offense.
"Why?"
"I don't know."

ipso facto

Better pass protection and throw the ball past twenty yards more than once a game.

No execution by the WRs and OL in the simplest of scenarios. I question how much talent we really have available at the moment in those units.

The coaches have tried to make slight adjustments like bringing in extra blockers (RBs) to help keep Mett from being destroyed. They have also had pass plays with a lot of different potential WRs. Our main guys just aren't catchin the ball and their is no excuse. The OL atleast has the excuse of having injury issues.

I don't see how Mett could be considered the any real problem when he is getting tons of pressure and has several key drops every game by the WRs. The guy isn't doing that bad.

If the OL and WRs executed the current gameplan atleast half way decently(not a lot to ask from a supposed talented bunch) then the offense would be rolling and perceptions would be completely different.

Dropped passes. That alone should have brought home a win for us last week.

The main thing wrong is our oline. We lost our best offensive player in Faulk. We've ran behind him for two years.
