Yep. Game manager. Few TOs.

No. JJ with this team would be just as bad if not worse.
Though, I will say that it's more the offense than it is the qb.

Not really. His scrambling brought a different dimension, but he was a pretty bad passer for this level of college football.
OL and experience are killing Mett. I'm still bullish on him.

Yep...I have always been a fan of JJ..yes he had his brain farts but the guy won us games. With this piss poor offensive coaching staff, I strongly believe that JJ could have been a stud at another school.
P.S. Before the rant attacks JJ, please keep in mind that his brother is a recruit that has committed to play at LSU next yr.

When he said that he "made good plays" after such awful offensive performances, I thought he was insane, stupid, arrogant, or a bit of all.
However, considering Les' offense, maybe what he did is in fact considered "making good plays?"

Absolutely not, JJ showed no improvement from the day he arrived at LSU until the day he left.
All this bashing on Mett and the team is a bit absurd. WTF did you expect from an unproven QB commodity in his first SEC starts? Given the talent that left last year did you expect we would be better?
Give it a little time, all is still well in Tigerland. Most SEC programs would love to be blessed with "our problems"..

frick no. Played behind ahealthier o line. Fewer penalties . Less drops. He had a piss poor attitude. And made way more dumb plays.

Hell NO. He was absolutely terrible and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. We were more one dimesional last year than we are now.

I was never one to bash JJ, but I did think that the coaching staff was doing all they could with a QB that couldn't perform as well as most would like.
Now, with 5 YEARS of lower than sub par performance on offense, one just cannot say that it's the players.
I'm not saying 'fire miles', or whatever, but this is a matter of coaching and general philosophy.

No, JJ was bad and had a bad attitude. That said, I think we would at worst have the same record with him this year. His scrambling ability could have heeled vs florida saturday.

The rant owes him an apology. But there is a list:
1. Crowton
2. Every WR that played here after 2006
3. JL/JJ

No. Just because this year's offense is bad doesn't mean that last year's wasn't.

this is the exact moment in which i stopped reading

JJ actually had receivers that could catch even his shitty arse throws. He had all of his starters on offense. He had the benefit of a team that was actually and always jacked up and ready to play(except during the most important game of the year, makes sense.) So no, we don't owe him an apology. The only person I think you owe an apology to is Les Miles, for giving up on someone that has given so much to you.

Maybe T Bob but not JJ. We're not missing a QB like we're missing blocks.

The rant owes JJ an apology regardless of what has happened this season.

Our 2 SR QBs last season threw for 20 TDs with 5 INTs, completed bout 62%, had a combined QB rating of bout 145, and QBed LSU to a 13-1, 9-0 record.
6 games into 2012 our current QB has 6 TDs with 3 ints, completing 62%, has a QB rating of 140, and has QBed us to a 5-1, 1-1 record and #8 NR.
Playing QB in the SEC is damn tough, coaching against SEC teams is damn tough, and it's a damn shame some of us don't seem to appreciate the elite level of success both our players and coaches have given to us LSU fans in the last 7 to 10 yrs.

JJ? Hell no. What about J. Lee? He is the one owed an apology. He carried us to 9-0,he stepped up and provided leadership and managed the Off. It was going fine until CLM goofed it up w/JJ once again.
