Yeah this was first hand so it's not like we were pro drivers.
I've heard that with just a tune and exhaust an ecoboost can pick up some insane HP, though.

Turbo motors are the easiest to tune.

Ford bas a campaign out right now for al of their forced induction vehicles, including diesel. You so much as put a cold air kit on one and you void warranty. They actually make you sign the paper when you purchase the vehicle. Pretty Damn chicken shite to me.

Oh wow... That's crazy. They can tell if you're tuning it or have tuned it in the past can't they?
That's the only thing that's going to put a damper on all of these awesome turbo motors coming out these days.

Yes they can.
I doubt it's just them too. All BMW's are going that way and the only "legal" way to tune the 335 is buying their power pack for a few grand that gets just a few more HP.

quote:Pro street or 10.5" Outlaw. Could dial down the turbos for Pro Street. 10.5 Outlaw ran 35 lbs of boost.

I love the ecoboost, leaps and bounds a head of every gas motor for a pickup right now

That's really impressive performance. I would love to have one.

Had a 2008 Tacaoma TRD I liked a lot but this one I love way better, better mileage, more room and bigger.
