Worst song nominations:
"Santa Clause is coming in a boogie woogie choo-choo train" by the Tractors (basically the same song as their one hit, but with Santa Clause inserted in there to sell a Christmas record.

"Billy Bob loves Charlene"--by Joe Diffie. This song seems to be the prototype of Country songs these days including such cheesy lines as "John Deere green" and "Raising sweet corn, kids and tomatoes". Although he did have a great song in "Prop me up beside the jukebox when I die."

I'm assuming the discussion is for Nashville, mainstream country?

I actually like the Killing Time record from Clint Black...

worst - most of it
