The O will Show

We have had an inordinate number of miscues. The team has played un-inspired ball against poor competition. Mett has held onto the ball poorly and too long, resulting in too many sacks and too many fumbles. Mett has lacked confident posture and demeanor. The receivers have dropped way too many balls. The penalties have been inexcusable. The offensive line has incurred a big blow and the adjustments have been not-enough. Copeland was thought to be lost for at least a few weeks. The RB's have put the ball on the ground. The TE's have been no-show.
All of that is valid concern.
Now. If you expect that this lack of focus and inordinate number of miscues will continue, go ahead and expect as much. See where that gets you. Seriously, go ahead.
I think we'll see a reversal of the poor fortune starting Sat afternoon.
The law of averages will work in our favor this weekend. The news of Copeland being ready for play and the shaving of the stache are the leading indicators to this reversal of fortune.
Similarly, Florida has over-achieved the first 5 weeks, while LSU has underachieved the first 5 weeks. It is time for Florida is have a setback and for LSU to have a set-forward.
The confidence that Mett and the O get from the win in the swamp against a legit top-10 team will calm the storm just in time.
14-0 is still a possibility.
It may not be likely, but it is possible.
The Florida game is the key to building the team into what it is capable of.
LSU 31
Florida 23

Really? With our defense? Wow.

Yeah
Towson marched down the field on that defense . What makes you think Florida can't do it , ESP if the offense struggle and keeps the defense on the field

I guess everyone should have been able to run on bama last year based on their Georgia Southern game last year. Oh wait.
Some of you base way too much on one game that no one cared about.

What you've seen in 2009, 2010, and 2011 is what you will get in 2012. Why should you expect anything more or LES. The same offense exist. Florida will not show some LSU miraculous improvement. Grow up people, there is one coach floating this ship.
Without the hire of John Chavis, you would be welcoming a new head coach this year. If Chavis leaves, Les is gone within 2 years.
