He is the head of the NFLPA. No doubt he hates Goodell more than any of us and for so many more reasons than just the Saints and his year this year.

Roger told everyone to be nice to the refs and no one listened. Shows you how much coaches and players respect him.

The owners should be infuriated with the product goodell is putting on the field these days with these chicken shite refs.

Brees isn't the head of the NFLPA. he is 1 of 10 players on the executive committee. But he probably is the defacto leader of that group.

For the record, it's not really the officials' fault they are so bad. The NFL is prime time, and it's really Goodell's fault for not getting the right men on the job.

I'll agree to that. If a father gives his 2 year old blind son the keys to a car and points him the wrong way down the interstate during rush hour, you dont blame the kid.
Still though, he could have held tryouts or something. He could have found people who know the basic rules of the NFL. He didnt seem to even try.

But owners like Kraft, Benson, and others should be leading the charge to get a reasonable commissioner in there. I don't ever remember Rozelle or Tagliabue hell bent on breaking the players' union and the refs' union, and consolidating so much power in his office.
As a football fan, I find it offensive and disgusting.
