"we're going to take advantage of some of those secondaries that want to come up and crowd the front and really try to stop the run."

"We'll challenge anybody to play a single-high coverage against us....."

What happened to this idea?

Hard to do that when your Qb cant get it out of his hands before he is mauled by blue and orange. Thats on the Oline, and some blame goes to Mett for not hitting a his check off option.

The WRs don't catch the ball consistently, the OL has struggled in pass protection, and the QB is developing a habit of turning the ball over.

Remove "poor" and I'm in total agreement.

Mett didn't play a bad game. 0 INTS, made good throwing choices, his wideouts dropped passes but he still took stabs deep. He also completed a clutch pass to Ware on a late crucial 3rd down. Most importantly we won the fricking game.

WR are average at best. They can't make big plays. Other than Mett's fumble at the goalline he actually threw alot of good balls and made good decisions. Our wr dropped 7-8 catchable balls

Teams will continue to stack the box against us and we lose 2-3 games b/c of our inability to throw consistently. We lose to Alabama and one or two more imo.I don't want to be a negative fan but its my current opinion.Of course its subject to change if mett and our OL improve but as of now I don't see it.

That's still not a catastrophe remembering the days of Stovall,Archer,Hallman and Dinardo.

In order for that to happen the o-line has to give the qb time to throw it and the wrs time to complete their routes. Also helps when the wr catches the ball

I think Mett played great for his first conference road game. But you conveniently left out his 2 fumbles in your praising post. Those fumbles were huge.

After watching that debacle of an offense, we lose to Florida probably 21-10, USC maybe but it's at home so toss up. If anyone is really honest with themselves aTm game will be just like the one last night. Bama 21 to 28-0.
9-3. Outback or Cotton

Yeah 0 ints, just 2 fumbles. Those are worse than ints.

How often did Auburn put 8 in the box? Seems like they played us straight up for the most part.
