So you are the welfare queens on the state budget? And act like you are big time sports. If left to fall to the appropriate level, ULL, LA Tech, etc. would be Division II. Simple fact.

Louisiana is a poor state. Jenny (if that is your real name. LOL!) should pony up that money if you want ULL to be a big time program. Not expect the state to underwrite you like some failed government program.

Hendo, again I don't state this to offend you. But the fact is that Louisiana can't afford the folly of ULL, ULM, and LA Tech pretending they are legitimate FBS schools. It's not that they almost pay their way. They barely cover half of their athletic expenses, even with those body bag games.
Note I'm not trying to convince you, but raising awareness to other Louisiana taxpayers about the black hole(s) their tax money is going into.

FTR the talk is refurbishing Cajun Field, not building a new stadium. Fill in the end zones with bleachers, continue the modernization of the press box and put at least a covering over the concourse on the visitor's side.
They then put the students and band in the congress st endzone and sell between the thirties on the visitor's side to season ticket holders for a premium.

Yeah, I pointed out that it's a refurb job. They're not building a new stadium. I like that the students are right behind the opposing bench, wouldn't like that but I'd understand it if it was to make some more money.

I used to read that Delphi board yeas ago but I forgot about it. It was the Lafayette butt hurt board.
Anyway HUD stays until he gets a big job offer. However he will be the first HC in modern school history to leave for a better job. So it is not a done deal by any means.
