what are these hollywood f*** drinking to make them this way.

Most are people who got rich and famous at a young age and therefore never matured past that age. In essence, they know they have far more than they deserve and they need something to cool the guilt of it. That's the basis of it, but once a culture is developed, those who enter it becomes a part of it, either just to survive or, being vapid, stupid people, because they actually believe this shite.

Haven't watched him since there was guy under the stairs. He just seems to lick his teeth, adjust his wig and be angry now.

If Letterman had Ann Coulter's views, would he be a sell out?

Why does anyone want to hear Leno or Letterman's point of view on politics?

If I'm making twenty million a year, millions of people watch me...you'd be hearing my opinion on shite.

all the late night guys are on the left.

I can't wait to see the O'Reilly vs Stewart debate next month.

I don't need to hear either but they can't ignore a political gaffe and at some point their political leanings can be discerned. They also hire 20 year old joke writers and it is usually easier to make jokes about Romney than Obama.

Fwiw I think Kimmel is better than both of these guys at their current state but I have always felt Leno was a hack.

But they can avoid inviting Rachel Maddow on the show five times a year. I would rather watch a directional no-name commercial actress get interviewed.

To watch O'Reilly get pummeled? Cuz that's what's gonna happen.

He's long sold out. Absolutely lying through his teeth and even Adam Sandler is saying he doesn't believe him: Fast forward to the 8 minute mark

I'm agnostic, pro-choice, and don't care about gay marriage. Why would I give a shite about Ann Coulter? You think I vote on such stupidity? Please dude. You can try to place me in a box but you just look foolish.

I don't spend a lot of time thinking about what you do.

I guess that explains your assumption in the previous post.

My guess is that Maddow moves a needle somewhere and people watch when she is on. Her, Coulter, Hannity or O'Reilly won't get me to watch but it must get someone.

I understand how it works. Just noting that the show could avoid the political slant quite easily by simply not inviting hacks on the show. Letterman, from my vantage point, has become such a hack that I think he wants these guests more than the needle would support.

Oh Damn, what about Conan. I always forget about Conan these days. He was good at 11:30....maybe great. But when he moved to Cali and even before NBC and Leno screwed him, he started sucking. He needs to go back to NYC.

Letterman also could be at a point where he is about done with the whole thing and could think he is right and wants to sway the public or maybe wants some of the younger Daily Show demographic.
