Most of that time is made up after sentencing. I had to finish out a 48 hr sentence (had it reduced to 12) a week after my court date. So since he was in Ga I'd say this is pretty commonplace and no special treatment.

Obviously none of us know what its like to be a professional athlete but how or why they do not have personal drivers is beyond me.
Funny. One of my closest friends' Dad is a big attorney in Atlanta that represents pro athletes, some of them being high profile Falcons players. The FIRST thing that he advises his clients to do is to get a personal driver on weekends/whenever they go out.. the second? He tells them to get a vasectomy.
He said that 9/10 ignore him on both counts and that they all eventually pay big for it.

Looks like Michael is the 9. He had two baby mommas fighting in his driveway a couple months ago. Crazy bitch drove through the security gate and started throwing down with other crazy bitch.

Yeah, at least he flashed his lights at him before he killed the guy. Its good to know that its OK to drive drunk and kill people as long as they arent in the crosswalk.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner initially told police he hadn’t been drinking when he was stopped speeding early Tuesday morning.
Then, he admitted he had about five shots at Magic City, on Forsyth Street, after his team’s Monday night win at the Georgia Dome, according to the Gwinnett County police report obtained Wednesday by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Turner, 30, of Suwanee, submitted to a portable breath test and registered a .109, the report states. He was arrested on DUI and speeding charges, according to police. The legal blood alcohol level in Georgia is .08.
Police said they stopped Turner shortly after 4 a.m. Tuesday, when a Gwinnett County officer clocked a 2012 Audi going 97 mph in a 65-mph zone on I-85 northbound near Indian Trial Road.
“When I advised him of his speed, he seemed shocked and did not seem to believe me,” the officer stated in the report. “He stated the car did not feel like it was going that fast.”
The officer reported smelling alcohol, but Turner didn’t have trouble walking, and his speech was normal, the report states. But Turner did have trouble focusing during an eye test, according to police.
When asked again if he had consumed alcohol, Turner allegedly admitted he had. Turner told the officer he hadn’t gotten to Magic City until 3 a.m. Monday, but during that time had consumed about five shots, according to police.
“I asked him if the shots were normal size, and he stated they were in cups, not shot glasses,” the report states.
Turner was not asked to walk and turn or stand on one leg during because he told the arresting officer he injured his ankle during the football game hours earlier, according to police.
.109??? You've got to be shitting me, clearly the officer was a NO fan.

I'm sure the 32 mph over the speed limit didn't help his cause.
