You are in denial if you think the media doesn't judge LSU differently.

Exhibit A:

BATON ROUGE, La. -- LSU's mid-game hiccup against the mid-major happened again.

Note: we just broke record for consecutive regular season non conference wins......happened again?

Exhibit A

Exhibit B:

It’s Alabama’s world, and everyone else is just taking up space

There are other good-looking teams like Georgia, Florida and Texas coming up with hot starts, but no one is doing more to impress early on than the defending national champions. Alabama didn’t get obliterate Michigan, but it went into Arkansas and pounced all over a wounded team in the 52-0 blowout. The run defense is impenetrable, quarterback AJ McCarron has been flawless, and the coaching is at its normal peerless level with Nick Saban and his staff appearing to have everyone fully focused on each and every step to a possible repeat. LSU’s offensive line is having a few problems protecting quarterback Zach Mettenberger, and there were a few defensive lapses against Idaho, but it’s beginning to look more and more like the November 3rd showdown in Baton Rouge will be for the national championship. There’s an eternity before then, but right now, Alabama is looking untouchable.

Note: Alabama has given up more sacks than 100 other FBS teams.

Exhibit b

Exhibit C:

Idaho fades against No. 3 LSU 63-14

Really telling headline.....fades......haha.

Exhibit C

Apples and oranges buddy.

ESPN article is written by a guy who follows LSU. This guy writes for GeauxLSUNation on ESPN. He knows and follows LSU football. He is more likely to know about the game than someone who checked the box score.

CFN article is a summary article from a guy that's reading box scores and making judgements. Bama's victory was impressive. They beat a team that was supposed to be a BCS contender.

Also please edit the link for exhibit b and place a : after http.

Was the same thing when Saban was here. All we have to do is take care of business and they can all suck it.

God dammit man, get this shite out of here.
It's all in your head. Your exhibits of articles from this week are not evidence. What about news articles from last week?

meh.

We played well, but didn't play lights out. LSU did not have to start the year wide open. Coaches have been bringing the team along at pace. OTOH, Bama beat Arkansas badly at Arkansas. They are #1. We are #2. It will work out. There is also an eternity between now and November for both teams

saban is judged differently from miles even by many LSU fans. saban doesn't make mistakes. when his team loses it's the players fault; when LSU loses it's miles fault. so maybe the media is just acting like our own fans. miles is A BETTER COACH THAN SABAN when you compare LSU vs LSU. saban is a better coach at bama than when he was at LSU. miles is abetter coach now than he was when he was hire. it appears that both coaches are still improving.

lets see...Mett has been sacked 5 times in 3 game...Mccarron has already been sacked 8 times, 6 times by WESTERN KENTUCKY, this season in 3 games after only being sacked 13 times all of last season...

nice to see the media doing their homework...

The headline for "Exhibit B":

What You Need To Know

What was important in Week 3?

Trust me, LSU beating the shiznette out of Idaho was NOT important enough to be included in this article. Now, if Idaho had won the game, then there might have been something important to say about the game.

As for the importance of Alabamastan beating the holy hell out of Arky. . . well, the most important thing we learn from that is confirmation of the fact that Arky was over-rated in the pre-season polls. It happens every year. Someone is always over-rated. (Remember Michigan getting walloped by Appalachian State?)

I'm no fan of Alabamastan, but I do love to see Petrino get his @$$ handed to him real good once in awhile! (Even if Ole Missus is the one dealing the pain, because yes, he IS that much of an arse.)

How are those wrong?

I'm an avid LSU fan and felt the same way.

Yesterday was a very ugly throttling.

I think it suits us well where we are with the media. There will be an antibama backlash and most of the country will be pulling for lsu on november 3rd.

From ESPN's headlines:

No. 2 USC upset by Stanford again | Maisel
That's way more important than us beating Idaho

Irish upend Michigan State to go 3-0 | Woj
That's an upset...more important than our beat down of Idaho

Penn St. wins 1st under O'Brien, sinks Navy
More important than our win considering their offseason issues.

Sloppy No. 13 Va. Tech upset by Pitt | Blog
An upset is more important than our win against Ida-fricking-ho
Bama pounds Arkansas | Florida tops Tenn.
Bama destroying a bad Arky team is still more impressive than our win over Idaho!

S. Carolina loses QB Shaw | Georgia romps
Losing your QB is damn important....Mettenberger's name would have been right here had we lost him. So, it's more important than us beating a crappy Idaho team.

Ohio State staves off Cal | Michigan cruises
We didn't almost lose, thus Ohio St's place here.

Pelini released from hospital | Huskers roll
Someone's health is way more important than our beatdown of Idaho.

BYU misses 2 last-second FGs, falls to Utah
Again, much more exciting than our beatdown of lowly Idaho.

Thompson, FSU blank Wake | Clemson rolls
FSU deserves some love and Wake is a better team than Idaho.

So, what's the big deal? There are 300 million+ people in this country and , believe it or not, not everyone of them sucks on LSU's cock. Get over it.

Oh, and I'd be willing to bet that the media you're referring to has LSU ranked #2. Yep, they hate us. Some of you are unbelievable.
