This part might be interesting to some of the beer people:
Might want to get there while you can though, based on the rest of the article.

They're improving the beer list by exiling mainstream brews in favor of Eastern European, and possible Russian, pilsners. And they're working on a menu of Polish and Russian food.

That article is so bizarre. How are they planning to make a gradual transition from absinthe and beer with Russian food to a rum bar?
Also, I don't own a restaurant or bar, but how is this in anyway a pop-up bar?
Finally, how close is the connection to Cure? Is this just Estopinal or is this all of the owners from Cure? I always heard that Bodenheimer was the muscle behind Cure, so I am curious to see if he is involved.

Its the new TP - anyone worth a damn was fired. As with most of their articles these days, its nonsensical.

I thought the same thing. Eastern European theme to something "like a tiki bar but not a tiki bar." Should be fricking seamless.

That's actually kind of clever and seems like it could have some use in this operation.

Dont have all the details but I imagine a few things.
One they are eventually going to get a liquor license in the name of the new place. Considering that takes a while, as that process is pending they are going to keep it open as Perestroika, while testing and getting things up to speed. This will keep revenue flowing.
Secondly, it is the Cure group adding Nick, yes Neal is involved. From what I understand it will really be Nick's baby. The food is going to be done by Adam Biderman of Company Burger.

Oh, be still my beating heart! That's great news - especially since I live within walking distance.
