Lets not start this. Can't we just be happy with what is going on THIS season?

I am VERY happy this season. We are seeing qb play that is light years ahead of recent years. In fact, it is the fact that it is so much better that I think the question is being asked.

And even with Mett as the quarterback this year, it's still possible for us to lose this year. Strange things happen.

Dear Mr. Bateman,

Perhaps you should direct your invective toward CLM who, in fact, not only tried, but did "change up the momentum our team had last season." Further, were you convinced that the Offensive game plan was going anywhere after Q1? If so, please explain why you held this opinion and try to be specific.

Sincerely,

I guess because he was 3rd string. How many snaps did Rivers take last night or Bolden?

Do you think he was better than our 1st and 2nd string QB's last year?

And I'm not asking you to be the HC here. Simply your personal opinion.

I think our definitions of "meaningful" differ greatly, buy I'll ask you again since you ignored me question earlier. Who are all these 3rd string QBs getting meaningful reps?

I think the question is where are the best qb on the team getting all the snaps. There are a lot of those. Maybe you do not agree that Mett was the best qb on the team last year.

Most Fans knew this last year much less the Head Coach and his staff. Even Richt said if he was at GA, he would be the starter.........JJ & Miles
No one can figue out. But to let us be embarrassed on the National stage in a BLOW out with that kind of talent on the bench and Lee could have rallied and done better, maybe too late in 2nd half to win, but I do believe it wouldnt' have been a blow out. Hard for a LSU Fan
to forget that night....with no efforts whatsoever to change the game plan. Saban didn't have to work hard for that NC Title.

You're the Authority. You ask CLM. Did you mean, "How did he change it?" Well, that is a matter of history.

From a talent standpoint, absolutely. From an experience and offensive understanding standpoint, I doubt it. I think the latter has value and helped us have our best regular season ever. I'm certainly not content with the eventual outcome, but Mett or Lee or anyone else wouldn't have won us that game IMO. We played not to lose and they had nothing to lose. It cost us.

I guess because he lacked experience, knowledge of the plays, and presented more risk than people realize when we were continuing to win.

Can you explain this? What difference does that make given the opening question. You should re-read it, if you read it at all. Why was Mett not given snaps during the season full of blow outs to hone his in game passing skills? What is so pathetic and miserable about that, Mr. Fan(atic)?

How many meaningful snaps do you expect Bolden (our third string QB) to get this year, Mr. Tiger?

And if you sit around dwelling on last year instead of enjoying this amazing team we have, you are MISERABLE and PATHETIC. I'm so glad I can be happy about things going on in the present and not cry and moan about things that happened in the past. It really must suck to be so negative and miserable.

No, I know how and I know why. The why is because Lee threw two picks in the Alabama game, JJ came in and helped us win that game, and the rest is history.

Mr. Authority,

I asked why he did not play when the outcome of the game was not seriously in question. Do you just not get the question?

LM really needs to explain that very curious decision.

He doesn't need to explain anything.
He cannot go around explaining things to people just because they think his decision was curious.
His supervisor may have raised this questions with him - and Les may have answered to Joe's satisfaction (or not).
If you want to find a reason to be upset when you've got no reason to, it's your business.

We had a recycled game plan and our offensive line got absolutely destroyed.

At least one Rantard gets it. CLM has no leg to stand on so far as that game is concerned. It was the worst game plan ever in the history of LSU and he stuck to it stubbornly when it was evident very early on that it would fail.
