I am in a very similar position in terms of how you got the tickets and how they are "unofficially" yours etc.
I pay for the tickets every year but yet it seems like everyone seems to believe they are entitled to them at convinient times.
I will offer my opinion and hope you consider it. If your family is worth a shite to you and yall are truly in fact a family, not one of these broken up cluster fuk type deals, i would suggest letting her win this battle.
It is a football game, yes i will be there BUT in all honesty the better seat is on your couch and you will always know you took the classier road. It is only football, concede this one to your sister and be the better person. Your parents will recognize and will always make note. That is what mAtters in life. What has football ever really done for you??? Nothing. Family first bro. Dont lose sight of that in all the hype. That game is 2.5 hrs, thats all.
Then maybe take a cheap jab at the bro-in-law for endorsing this type behavior and let him know you recognize the bullshite involved here but dont let your sister know you checked him. He will remember that.

Absolutely not........at most I would give the sister one, but no way in hell is old brother in law getting the other ticket.

So you are each paying for exactly 1 ticket.

The solution is easy!

Let me give you an example. My family has 4 season tickets. There are four of us in my family. My parents dont go to games often, but games like Bama....they go. My Brother and I go to most of the games. My wife has never come to a lot of games, but now that we live out of town, when we are in BR she comes.

For Bama everyone is using a ticket, so my wife is ticketless. It is MY responsibility to find her a ticket. Not to con my brother or one of my parents out of one. Fortunately I found one, but had I not, she would have been out of luck, not my family. So tell BIL to piss off.

Here's the deal bro.

Family tickets or not, the fact that you've been the only one for the past 15+ years who has (a) wanted to use them, and (b)have attended those games religiously, that earns you the full right to tell both of them to GTFO.

However, if you've got to keep the peace, then your BLOOD relative should get one ticket. War Eagle Hubby can find his own damn way into the game.

If the roles were reversed and he had Iron Bowl tickets in a year where Auburn and Bama were both really good, there's no way in hell he'd consider giving you a ticket and leaving his wife at home, so don't be willing to do the same thing here.

ETA: Personally, her flakeage from the last botched game she attempted to go to should entitle you to some kind of financial compensation for that extra ticket...at the very least she should bring one of her hot friends to the tailgate for you to grope.

They can get a ticket for BIL here

You paid your half ... she's paid her half. You each get 1 ticket. For whatever reason that she hasn't been in the past, tough cookies. Maybe you two should look at the possibility of YOU paying for both tickets so this doesn't come up again. That way you can so no and not feel bad about it and she can buy tickets to the games that they really want to go to!

(Why DOES she continue to pay and never ask to use both tickets??? Does she live out of town??? Just curious.)

So she married an Auburn fan, wants your tickets, and assumes she has a right to the game of the century of the week?
Easy, make her disappear.

The brother in law is the obvious driving force behind this one.

But now, since there is a big game at LSU and his sister's husband realizes how big the game is, she asked for those tickets, and in such a way that would put him on the spot.

I wouldn't give her the tickets. She's trying to manipulate the situation because she knows she shouldn't get them.

Bitches be manipulative.

I would not give her the tickets, sounds like a bullshite reason, "the only game I can go to"

If u have the tix in ur possession now then I would tell them to frick off. Teller they don't have a kitchen where y'all sit so it would be pointless for her to go

I would offer to give them one of the Bama tickets (it sounds like the BIL is the only one of them interested in going anyway) and the Auburn tickets for next year. If she's paying the same as you, she's got the right to go, but so do you. I think that would be a fair compromise.

I carry pepper spray to the game, and if somone offends me by battering me while bumping into me while I'm entering the stadium, I let it fly for self defense purposes. Tell her she doesn't want to chance getting pepper sprayed as I will not try to avoid being bumped by her Auburn fan husband.

Who pays for them? If you pay for them tell to go suck it. If they are family tickets paid for by someone other than you either give her the tickets and just be nice about it or you take one ticket and give her the other. besides if you go with option 2 her husband does not even have a dog in the fight he is an Auburn fan.

Are the tickets in your physical possession?

If so, there is no problem here.
