I noticed the same thing. He needs to chill with all of these "cute" lil sayings. Did it 3-4 times last night. Just cut out all the bullshite & tell us what happened on the play. It's not about you Dan!!

Dan Borne and Jim Hawthorn are staples of LSU.
I say we keep them and get rid of lacour and his hating troll tag alongs.

Dan is so full of himself. Dude tries to make up sayings that will stick. He needs to STFU.

And the young guy they had working the basketball games at the end of last season was leaps and bounds better than Danny Boy could ever dream of being.

He is WAY WAY too full of himself. Just do your job and STFU.

Man, you think LSU is more known for Jim Hawthorne or hating fans?

Dan Borne

We are a fan base that will bitch...about... anything.

I don't have an opinion about him one way or the other, but I will always remember an interjection of his. The game back in like '97 against Houston, the one when Faulk was gonna be suspended, but they let him play, and he single-handedly brought us a comeback win. Anyway...we were down in that game, Houston is up with momentum going their way, and we fumbled on our side of the field...none of the Tigers knew the ball was loose, a Houston player was scooping it up, and Dan mentions over the PA, "fumble on the play" in a calm, "hey, I'm just callin the game" kinda way. After that, the Tigers realized a Houston guy had the ball, caught him from behind way down the field, and stopped what would've been a defensive TD/nail in the coffin. We ended up stopping them on their next series, swung momentum back our way, and eventually won. I've always wondered if Dan Borne doesn't interject, would we have lost that game.

I met Dan Borne recently and tried to briefly talk to him about LSU football and what he does. He sat me down and asked me questions about me for 30 minutes. Only talked about himself when I asked.

I've worked in film and tv production, news production, and Louisiana politics. Dan Borne is far from "full of himself."

He does a great job. Loved when he said "no hurricanes" before chance of rain last night in his weather forecast. And I loved after the Northwestern game last season (most of y'all that went were probably long gone before the game ended) but Borne said "two down, 12 more to go."

Keep it up, Dan.

Do yourself a favor, wake up and face what they call reality.

Both Dan Borne and Jim Hawthorn are awesome and will call LSU sporting events till the day he decides they dont want to anymore.

Lacour will sit around on TD, eat cheetos and whine like a small school girl.

Come on bro, you better than this.
