We're still out of power on Bluff. Us and the neighborhood next door, but my Aunt that lives on the other side has power.

Never lost power at the inlaws on Eva St. in Gonzales. My grandpaw lives off of Alexander St. and they got water up to their door and it has slowly started receding.

We just left my brotherinlaw's house off of Bluff and they had power. They never lost it. There was a big limb on a line across the street though. They live in Oaks on the Bluff.

We never lost it here at Cornerview and 73 either.

Waiting on word for it to come back on. Neighbor has been texting me updates since we were out in Pride. Kids have school tomorrow, so we are staying elsewhere if it doesn't come back on today.

I'm less than a mile from there and have been out since 11am yesterday.

New River is over its bank in a few places. Is it high there?

Yeah Cornerview is pretty well flooded at points but that happens in every heavy rain.

We ducked out today to get to my parents house who have power. Anyone still in Pelican Point? If so, do we have power back yet? TIA.

Sure thing. Wife just went by there. Swamp has 2 trees down across powerlines coming from Old Perkins. Back way from Airline is fine. Three Entergy trucks back there working.

Yeah no one is near that downed tree on 621. Also, one of the poles near central middle on 621 has some damage at the top

Ascension parish public schools closed on Fridays.

Neighbor down the street had a tree land on house. Rumor is that the dad was in the room when it hit, but was able to crawl out largely unhurt. Kids were in a different part of the house. Pretty massive damage, so they will have to live somewhere else a few months.
