re: Season ticket holders - regional tickets are in your account.

We were also moved to the bleachers, which is a bit frustrating. I know it may sound spoiled, but I'm disappointed not to have the seats we've had for decades, or to be sitting next to the friends we've made. My wife has a bad back, so she's not happy about sitting in the sun on bleachers with no backing.
How can we avoid being relocated? Is it just a money game, and thus based on donations to TAF? I am tempted to go talk with people who sit in our seats and ask them how much they donate...

re: What personal ritual carried you through the game yesterday?

I ate a PB&J and my wife a grilled cheese during the first inning every game after the first loss to Wake. Sat on the same spot on the couch, and at key moments made the dog sit in a specific spot also.
Because Sunday was a day game, we mistakenly picked up Canes for lunch and had a friend over to watch the game.
Last night it was back to PB&J and grilled cheese...

Mister Bengal
But I do agree that its likely that tonight's game will be moved to Saturday, meaning a DH Saturday and single on Sunday.

Got tickets for tonight's game, but wondering if they will move it to Saturday/Sunday. Cant find any information at the moment.

I have also heard a rumor about Breaux Bridge. Its funny, I am guessing that people "know a guy" but dont want to give out too much info least their guy runs out of birds due to demand. So you gotta get lucky and perhaps know people in the business, so to speak.
I think the best source would be Angola, but several people might have to go in together to make that worth it if the minimum is 100 birds at $4.50 each. Or buy a whole bunch and build a coop to keep them for several months each fall. That is what I am considering.
I am also told you can catch wild pigeons, but my wife is not enthusiastic about me trying to catch pigeons in a net at the park or by the lakes....

Looking for live quail in the BR area. I have been told Angola sells them, but you have to buy a large amount (100?) I have checked craigslist but not much within this area. Probably have to drive to MS.
Thought I would check here in hope that someone knew someone, before I started calling people over 1 hour away.
Thanks!

Is autoplex 2000 a legitimate dealer

Looking for a used vehicle, and one is reasonably priced on the autoplex 2000 (sulphur) website. Anyone have a feeling for whether this is a legitimate place to purchase a vehicle? For some reason I would feel more comfortable at a dealership, although I am not sure why.

Can we watch baseball replays on ESPN3?
Posted by PunchDrunk on 5/29/14 at 8:40 am
I will probably not be able to watch the game if it is Friday or Saturday afternoon. Usually we DVR or watch geauxzone. Can you only watch the games live on ESPN3, or will we be able to watch replays?

Sucks for me also. Probably gonna just listen radio. Watching bad video and listening to Vandy homers call the game is just not worth it.

re: Geaux Zone + Chromecast = Fail so far

I have a pretty new computer. Intel i5 something (SandyBridge) with 12Gb of RAM. CPU is about 2 years old. I am pretty certain its not computer.
I think the chromecast does better with netflix and youtube because it supports that natively. All you need is the computer to kick off the streaming, and chromecast basically talks directly with the source(youtube), bypassing your compute. You just need the computer to initiate the stream. With Geauxzone its a constant flow of data from internet, through the computer, to the chromecast.

That is good to hear. At least it works for someone. That perhaps means my internal wifi isnt strong enough to handle the stream. I think my router tops at 300 mbps.
Thanks to all for ideas and suggestions.
Geaux Zone + Chromecast = Fail so far
Posted by PunchDrunk on 2/26/14 at 8:42 am
Thought I would report my progress and perhaps get advice. Tried streaming geauxzone games from desktop to TV via chromecast. Everything worked great for the first few innings, then the image starting lagging. A few minutes later the connection would drop and the desktop couldnt find the chromecast. So we had to watch on the computer like last year. I was disappointed.
It certainly could be inconsistency in my home wifi, but I have a fairly new 'n' router, and its been solid up to this point. We used the chromecast for youtube for over an hour more than once, but youtube has native support (you dont need a computer to stream it). So I think its something about the computer to chromecast stream.
Any thoughts? Is anyone getting consistent results with this setup? I am prepare to buy an AppleTV and use my iPad if I cant get it figured out.

re: How to watch the Baseball game tomorrow: 2/14/2014 LSU vs. UNO

Also, I assume I could just put fire a laptop up, and cast it via the chrome browser. That might be better than iPad anyway.

OK. Chromecast works says it works with iOS 6.0 and up. Its only $35 at Walmart, as compared to the $100 cable

How about the chromecast. Can you run GZ or JTV on the iPad and throw it to the TV via Chromecast?
re: what's the feel on here? are we going to be outnumbered by Iowa again?
Posted by PunchDrunk on 12/17/13 at 9:47 am to PunchDrunk
I dont think LSU fans are entitled. No one thinks LSU deserves to be playing in a BCS game. Spoiled is more appropriate. Its hard to get excited about the game and matchup.
re: what's the feel on here? are we going to be outnumbered by Iowa again?
Posted by PunchDrunk on 12/17/13 at 9:44 am to tduecen
So the simple fact is that Iowa fans are excited about playing LSU in the Outback Bowl, but LSU fans are not excited about playing Iowa in the Outback bowl. They day the matchup was announced all the LSU people indicated that this would be the case. One is free to speculate about what that means regarding the relative status of each program and its fan base. LSU is favored, but Iowa is a good team and could certainly beat LSU.
