Nungesser just said on WVUE that waves are splashing over the Mississippi River levee in Empire and Buras. Per the Council Members for those towns.
Billy said he saw it himself at the Pointe La Hache ferry 2 feet below the top of the river levee

Thank god the river was at one of its lowest points in history. Can you imagine if it was at normal height? Holy shite

I haven't really heard any detals, but my uncle is in Port Sulphur and last time I talked to him, he said that it was getting bad down there.
