One of the local ESPN shows talked about how silly it that Alabama and LSU could be in the national championship conversation considering that USC has

they both were in the nc last season with sub par quarterbacks..

SVP talked a little bit about this today. Said they probably couldn't beat Bama or LSU, but could move the ball better than what SEC fans think

Why is it worrisome? They have a ton of talent, and if they go undefeated (including winning the Pac 12 title game) they'll deserve a shot. Why do LSU fans concern themselves with USC? Matt Barkley is a hell of a player. I am disappoint in this thread from you, and I love We Landed on the Moon.

Why is this worrisome? Are you afraid to play USC for the title? I'm not; I look forward to a quality competition with them. I think if anything it's good that USC is strong this year. If we'd had another strong team in the country last year, maybe Bama doesn't get the mulligan.
