I think the build up to the death was fine. I knew it as soon as Walt opened the bag and saw the gun.

dangit. Was hoping to see Mike come back and use that small arsenal he tossed down that hole in the next 1/2 of the season.

Walt telling lydia that he needs the list of names. Lydia and walt have a mutual desire to kill these people left on the payroll.
The laundry manager can place both walt and jessie with frings operation. He has to be killed at this point.
Hoped that they would fit in another fring flashback this season. At least explain his past and his relationship to lydia and how he got her/madrigal involved in this venture.
