Just Locked this in. Like Locker and C2J with Washington + Wright on Offense. Defense doesnt look to shabby either.
Gamblers have watched the loser of the last year’s Super Bowl go 2-11 SU and 1-11-1 ATS in Week 1 over the past 13 seasons.
The games in Bold I have personally bet on over the past 4yrs.
SUPER BOWL LOSER - WEEK 1 HISTORY (1999-2010)
Year Loser Opponent Line Result
2011 Pittsburgh at Baltimore -3 Loss 35-7
2010 Indianapolis at Houston -2.5 Loss 24-34
2009 Arizona vs. San Francisco -6.5 Loss 16-20
2008 New England vs. Kansas City -16 Win 17-10
2007 Chicago at San Diego +6 Loss 3-14
2006 Seattle at Detroit -6 Win 9-6
2005 Philadelphia at Atlanta -1 Loss 10-14
2004 Carolina vs. Green Bay -3 Loss 14-24
2003 Oakland at Tennessee +3 Loss 20-25
2002 St. Louis at Denver -3 Loss 16-23
2001 N.Y. Giants vs. San Francisco +3 Loss 13-16
2000 Tennessee at Buffalo PK Loss 13-16
1999 Atlanta at Minnesota +4 Loss 14-17 (Cover)
Not jumping off this trend.

Good thing you locked it in now to nab such a good line. If you waited a couple weeks you coulda gotten it at 7 or 7.5.
It'll lose either way though.

Last team to lose the super bowl then win ATS.....New England.
I'm taking them (-7). Easy money.
Feel free to tell me I told you so if they don't.

You and me both. The Pats should take this by at least 14

we're better than last year, but have the 2nd hardest schedule in the league, so expect 8-8. That's far from awful.

It looks like the line actually dropped to -6 is some places.

Titans 6.5 is a terrible bet. I will be at the game and we ain't hanging with NE dude. I'm just being real. Pats is lock of the year

I would take it at -6.5, but would be a little hesitant at -7.5. The Pats O-Line looked bad this preaseason and their defense was terrible last year. Plus it will be a home game for the Titans.

The Line is much better than it showed. We (sorry Kafka) didnt get healthy until thenlast week of preseason and if and when Waters comes back, itll be a ton better.
Also the Defense is almost completely revamped and will improve. A first time starter without his big time reciever will help as well
And finally the Patriots have won a crazy amount of opening games in a row i believe
