They are also living in an oral society. People in oral societies tend to be much quicker at picking up languages. Arya is also a highborn so she very likely was taught at least some High Valyrian. Since Braavos and most of the free cities appear to have started as colonies/freeholds from Valyria, i would guess there are very many similarities between all the languages of the Free Cities.
Lastly, and I haven't read this yet, so I have no idea, but there is certainly a magical quality to pulling on the face. Her accent would very likely be altered as well under this principle.

Over/under on if George will release any more sample chapters or if he's at least 50% through writing TWoW???
If he decides to release another chapter I'd love for it to be a Sansa chapter...unfortunately there's no way that he releases any of Jon's due to his cliffhanger ending in ADWD.

That was badass. It was the first chapter of tWOW I've read. I swore not to read any but couldn't help myself after reading it was an Arya chapter.

Definitely a good reason to read it. I had only read the Theon one prior to this one being released today, and the AWOIAF summarized versions of the other ones.

I agree with this^^
It's completely realistic that she would know this language given her circumstances.

Well that was entertaining. Good read.
But is Imebenzarro just a mummer that the Faceless men sent to learn a mummer's craft, a trade that would enable her to travel freely or is he a Facelessman himself?
I'm more inclined that he's just a mummer. Otherwise he's stuck in an indefinite long con.

According to AWOIAF,
"Izembaro, also called the King of the Mummers, is the member of the Faceless Men that is to train Arya Stark during her first apprenticeship."
They have yet to add the updated Arya TWoW chapter info.

I'm glad to see Arya hasn't forgotten anything. I was worried that with her training George R.R. Martin intended for her to become someone else althogether, but this chapter showed she is still Arya Stark, but with some new deadly skills she's picked up along the way. I know the story is intended to have gotten bigger than the Starks, but I still get most excited reading the series whenever Stark side is doing something awesome (which is why the Stannis chapters in ADwD were some of my favorites and I started rooting for him).

I agree...The Starks are at the heart of the story. Look at all the adversity they have gone through - by far the most out of any family in the entire series. Add that in the fact that they are so very noble (to a fault) and always warning others that worse things (winter) are coming, they have to find some greener grass by the end of the series. I'll be disappointed if Jon/Sansa/Arya don't all end up better off than they are currently in the series.

Oh in case you were wondering...
Jon is not dead, given Kevan's Epilogue which takes within the vicinity of time of Jon's assassination attempt, and the months long voyage it takes to get to Bravvos, when Arya wakes up from her Wolf dream she does not have any sense of tremendous loss that would be expected given her warg abilities and closeness to Jon. Jon is not dead. She would know, otherwise she'd be deeply effected.

Exactly. The Starks are the heart of the story and the characters that I'm most attached to. Jon, Arya, Sansa, Bran...they're all very unique and special in their own ways (I left out Rickon because he's not a POV character). I just want at least two of them or all of them to reunite again. . I think an Arya Sansa reunion would definitely start the waterworks for me.

Their relationship will be much different if this happens. I have a feeling they will grow closer due to the distance between them and they will even grow fond of one another.

They love each other, there's no doubt about it. They just had the typical sister arguments/rivalry that are commonplace during the 'tween' years. I think they would both love to see each other again. Sansa has grown and matured a lot, and Arya has too.

Also it seems like Cersei is still on the Iron Throne and won her trial.

Well I guess I better read it if I want to continue reading this board!
I didn't think I'd get spoilers for books that haven't been released yet!

Did anyone else catch the tree watching her running?
Bran is watching her wolf looking for his sister.
Also, given that Sansa is out of the Eerie now, he'll probably be watching her in the Godswood at the Gate of the Moon.
