Just saw Tyrion pour the wine out. Goosebumps.
I watched the video with the intent to catch that part, but the one time I saw Tyrion pouring wine, it was into a cup. Maybe I missed another part, but I just wanted to point this out so you don't get your hopes up for the Purple Wedding this season. It might happen, but I wouldn't expect it based off that video.

I still think the letter may have been written by Stannis himself with the help of Theon/Reek to draw Jon away from the Wall. Don't ask me what page it's on here ( ) but there's some stark similarities in some terms used in that letter and some things Theon/Reek says.
I seriously doubt Theon would give Stannis that much information on how Ramsay's mind works to write a letter like that. Its not that he wouldn't want to, he'd just be too terrified to think of it. Plus I'm pretty sure Stannis still wants the wall to be protected from the Others.

Have you read the excerpt of Theon from the next book Martin posted OM? The Theon now is not the Theon from the last book, he would have no issues seeing Ramsey go down.
The part Belle is referring to comes from that Theon chapter as well I believe. Stannis is looking at a letter at one point during that chapter, and Theon thinks to himself that he knows what's in the letter, and laughs to himself about it. And that chapter takes place before the end of ADWD.

Seems that chapter has been removed and replaced with Arianne I, so I can't prove it...but I remember Theon seeing the wax seal and/or writing and thinking to himself he knows WHO it's from, but not what it said.
I could be wrong, though.

"He has knowledge we may need. Bring in this maester." The king plucked a parchment off the table and squinted over it. A letter
, Theon knew. Its broken seal was black wax, hard and shiny. I know what that says
, he thought, giggling. Stannis looked up. "The turncloak stirs."

Oh I've read it. I'm just saying I don't think that Theon is emotionally stable enough to write a letter that could easily be mistaken for Ramsay. He definitely wants Ramsay to go down, but he is still screwed up enough to start screaming when they call him Bastard.

link to the chapter? glad you have it.
Jon's letter was sealed w pink wax.
Hmmmmmmm.
ETA: the theory that Mance wrote the letter to Jon is one I didn't really support, but it's out there. Makes sense he would want an army of wildings headed to WF, armed to the teeth. That and the fact that if Stannis really were dead, per the letter, Ramsey wouldn't be demanding Reek from Jon...he'd already have him. Also, why would Ramsey demand Stannis's "widowed" queen and daughter? Those hostages would only be beneficial to Mance, not Ramsey...
EETA: Why would Ramsey or Stannis use the term "Crow" like it was in the letter...this theory starting to make sense. Mance could extricate himself from a sticky situation on all sides with Arya to bargain with "my bride" as well..only he doesn't know the truth of her yet.

okay, this one is not mine (maybe <gasp> Germans to some)...was eavesdropping on the Stannis/ letter theory on another board, and it struck my funny bone:
Bloodraven training Bran on how to surf the "Weirnet"
Which started me thinking:
I guess the faces are the "RAP"s - Rootless Access Points...can they S-mail (Sap-Mail) each other?
Are their message Boards really wooden?
Ok, I'll stop.
No wait, one more. Do they have a "branch" 150+ "leaves" long called "Look at the stupid shite these nerds keep coming up with about us?"

If you search scribd theon winds of winter it should be the first one to pop up.
And yeah, the pink seal versus black makes it not a good match.
Wouldn't surprise me if Mance were the author, but he would have pretty much had to send the letter before entering Winterfell for it to be him.

I don't see how anyone can watch that video and think the Purple Wedding will NOT be in the next season. For shite's sake it shows the feast.

There are multiple feasts in that book. No reason to think its the big one. Could very easily be Tyrion's wedding, as well as a celebration when the Tyrells all arrive.

I just finished my re-read of SOS. It's amazing what you can catch just by reading while not sipping on scotch right before you go to bed. Anyway, I was curious about the merged re-read list for AFFC and ADWD. I did some digging and I found a merged version called a Feast for Dragons that is in an epub format for iPad. It's about 1871 pages but its pretty well done.
Haven't seen it on this thread before so I thought I would share. Enjoy!

the video showed Margaery being presented to Joffrey with a train of women behind her like a wedding. again, there really is no reason for that to have to be split in season four. really none at all.

Tyrion wouldn't have much to do in Season 4. Plus they haven't cast the mother fricking Red Viper

I would end season three with the Purple Wedding. Leave Tyrion's fate as a cliffhanger of sorts and it also gives the audience some satisfaction and hope after the previous episode. Start season four with the trial, Tyrion's escape and you use the rest of the season to show off Cersei's slip into madness and her fall as regent. If you don't throw in a character like Joffrey getting his before the end of the season I'm afraid you'll have a pretty upset audience after the RW.

Thinking about it, it could be cool if they do a parallel episode that is entirely focused on both weddings.

As in they were happening simultaneously?
