re: Crackpot ASOIAF Theories SPOILERS

So I'm reading ADWD again and I just can't get this thought out of my head.
Varamyr Sixskins gets then entire first chapter of the book. At the end of his chapter, the wight of the woman that he tried to warg in to stops and looks at him even though he has warged into his wolf. Then Varamyr gets the feeling that the wight knows who he is...
Does this mean that you can warg into a wight or that the souls of the dead are still trapped inside their undead bodies?
Another thought... Sixskins (in wolf form) runs into Jon (also in wolf form) and he is able to recognize Jon's presence... since it is assumed that Jon will jump into Ghost when he dies, what are the odds that Ghost/Jon flees Castle Black and joins up with Varamyr and Varamyr becomes some sort of catalyst to unlocking Jon's full skinchanging potential?

Littlefinger convinced Joffrey to kill Ned
I have always felt this as well.
I'm convinced it is going to be the key to turning Sansa against him and his ultimate downfall.
The question is, how does Sansa find out??
The obvious answer is The Hound. His feelings for Sansa give him motivation, although it's unclear how his feelings/personality will have changes as Gravedigger. Also, he was ALWAYS around Joff, so he likely would have been in position to hear any conversation where LF was planting the seed in Joff's ear that killing Ned was the kingly move and listening to Cersei and sending him to The Wall would be weak and womanly.
It's a classic LF move. The question is, how does The Hound find her and get her the info. Once LF reveals her as the heir to Winterfell, it will only be a matter of time.
But I've considered recently another possibility. Ser Ilyn Payne could also have been the one to overhear the conversation.
There were several encounters with Payne and Sansa, and it would be fitting if the man she was so frightened of was actually the key to showing her LFs true colors.
I've always felt like there is some greater purpose for Jaime and Ser Ilyn interacting the way they are. Once Jaime finishes his business with UnCat, he will somehow end up getting some sort of info from Payne that he witnessed in KL, and that could be it.
Would be another way to honor his oath to Catelyn, if he can reveal LFs true colors to Sansa in the end.

If it happens, I think she'll figure it out, rather than being told. She knows how Littlefinger thinks better than anyone else (maybe only next to Varys), and then she may be able to figure it out. Littlefinger is creating his worst enemy under his nose. I doubt that the Hound and Sansa will see each other again.

That's a good point. And I agree that LFs training of Sansa will ultimately lead to her figuring it out. Or at least suspecting it.
But I still think she'll need some sort of confirmation before she'll take the drastic step of killing him or turning on him.
Payne or Hound would be great ways of getting her info that would confirm her suspicions imo.

I think Varamyr's chapter was just to setup Jon's jump into Ghost at the end of the book, so it wouldn't be all out of the blue. Also helped explain Bran's powers a bit more. I doubt we see Sixskins again, and even if we did he'd have no real way to communicate with Jon.

So how will the theory on Jon/Ghost work?
Does he have to find another body to jump into?
In the series, does that mean the actor that plays Jon will no.longer be playing Jon?

I know this is basically verbalized blasphemy to presume that ANY character is dead until we have proof, but I think Sixskins is history, fallen prey to the Prologue POV doom.

I'd say Mel will most likely heal Jon's body and he'll jump back into it from Ghost. We know red priests can heal and she knows Jon can warg and is familiar with Ghost.

Basically, the same way that Varamyr warged into his wolf, One Eye, in the ADWD prologue. His conscious mind will jump into Ghost until his body is healed and ready.

The easy answer is No. He could just jump back to Jon once that body recovers from its wounds.
The Crackpot ASOIAF Theory is Yes. Ever wonder what happened to Rhaegar's body after the Battle at Ruby Ford? Maybe it was taken by men of the north. Maybe it was taken all the way to the Wall and placed in a crypt, where it would have been preserved...in perfect condition...just like the day he died.
Thus, Rhaegar would have correctly interpreted the prophesy of the PtwP when his body and warg son, Jon, are reborn together as Azor Ahai.

Can't wait to come read this entire thread. I'm about 70% done with the 5th book. Things are picking up steam.

I've read the series twice so far. I love each book, and it kills me the pace he's operating at. I wish Stephen King was behind this series. shite would've been done in 2004.

Yeah i just finished ADWD and am wanting more and just got depressed realizing that it will realistically be 1-1/2 to two years before we get winds of winter. I did just download free pdf files of the dunk and egg tales so that will at least give me a short term fix.

You are correct, ser. I checked the Wiki on Rhaegar before, but it did not specify.
However, Martin did answer the question of what happened to Rhaegar's body in an official Q&A:
quote:
Rhaegar was cremated, as is traditional for fallen Targaryens.
Additionally, I also came across an interesting piece of info regarding Dany's potential story arc. A popular theory is that she will continue east to Asshai, per prophesy. But according to Martin, that is not going to happen.
quote:
Q: Will we see Asshai?
GRRM: Only in flasback and memory, if at all.
Yes! Time to send her skinny, little butt back to Westeros. And her little dragons, too.
eta - east not west

Asshai is to the East, I believe.

I did find an interesting theory about her prophesy. Her son will be the stallion that mounts the world but that son is actually her dragon
I really hope we get to read about old Valyria in the next novel.

I read that Drogon is actually Balerion the Black Dread reincarnated...I just thought they resembled each other. Which is it?

RE: Old Valyria

Q: Is there any chance we'll see Valyria?
GRRM: Well.... there may be. Not a great chance, mind you. The question is, is it going to be a look at Valyria now, or Valyria in the past?
Sounds like a yes to me.

I would love for a short story based on the life of someone living during the Doom
