I have heard Collins was having the better overall camp but got nicked up and mills has made up some serious ground

I've heard the same. Mills is turning out to be a real steal in the 2012 class.

Simon is the #1 starter we all know that.

Now thing is Collins was most likely going to be at the #2 so Mathieu could still rome around the field like last season. Now he's gone it looks like Mills is the #3cb or nickel back.

Weren't Corey Webster & Jack Hunt both receivers who became solid DB's--sure Holmes may not ready yet, but don't count him out for 2013 & beyond.

I think Raymond may be too light at this point to be ready, so like others have said, it may be between the two Jalens as to who is the starting corner opposite Simon.

Hypothetical, curious question, Where would David Jenkins and Sam Gibson have stood right now in the pecking order if they woulda stayed around ?

Not sure there's an answer to that... Honestly I think Jenkins would have had a good shot at being the #2 outside corner behind Simon with Collins at the nickel with his physicality. But this is complete speculation obviously since they haven't been here since spring camp.

Don't be a tool dude. And to answer the OP, if I had to guess, I think Jalen Collins would be the #2 CB, and I see Micah Eugene working excellent as the Nickel.

I 'm trying to get Jalen Collins spring game performance out of my head. If you watch the highlights on YouTube , you can see him being burned badly by two different receivers.

He has talent, just needs instruction by coach Raymond on his technique. The season can't start soon enough.

Don't count out Mills earning the #2 spot behind Simon...
