He must have told miles he was going somewhere else and didn't want to sit for a year
Then he changed his mind seeing his options in front of him
I really don't think ANYONE thought he was going to sit even him

Lord help me if I appear to agree with a "no-peter", but permanent loss of eligilibity makes most sense to me.
Asked if permanent Miles said "He'll not be back"
plus:
"We extended ourselves to the full extent of the policy"
Asked what aid he gave:
"Things are spelled out that we can do"
"a long standing rule set that was adhered to very fully"
and the full extent of the policy:
8. Any Third Violation Case may be appealed at the written request of the Head Coach detailing the reason(s) for the request.
9. The Administrative Voting Committee will be made up of the Athletic Director, Associate Athletic Director, the ADAP Administrator, Drug Prevention Coordinator, and Head Athletic Trainer. In cases where a student-athlete has exhausted his/her eligibility to compete in a sport, a partial committee may be assembled at the discretion of the Athletic Director.
10. If after review the committee allows the restoration of a Third Violation case, the restoration will be based on full compliance of all Athletic Department rules and regulations for the remainder of student-athlete’s time at LSU. The committee, at its discretion, may impose conditions upon reinstatement that are binding for the student-athlete’s reinstatement to full eligibility. (i.e. loss of scholarship, game suspension, etc…)
11. A successful appeal will result in routine drug tests for the student-athlete. If institutional drug testing reveals the existence of drugs at any time an automatic positive test will be issued and Permanent Ineligibility to participate at LSU will result.

Guilbeau is worthless. He's a prime example of why the press is dying. No regard for truth, only sensationalism to get people reading/watching.
You knocked that one out of the park with three men on base!!!

Sport Center just interviewed GG, who said basically if TM7 is given a chance its because Les, Joe, and Bahnsen, all three either changed or manipulated the policy or collectively changed their minds.
GG is a Saban knob polisher and hates Miles. No doubt GG would make this type statement. GG's role model is Paul Finebaum witch says alot about his lack of intergrety.

If you were Miles, and the player in question had informed you that he would transfer and then enter the nfl draft, how would you answer that question?

"Policy dictates a one year suspension from our team, which I think is fair given the situation. I would expect Tyrann would want play immediately somewhere and he has my blessing and support should he choose that route. But as to whether this is permanent, that would be up to Tyrann and the direction he chooses to go"
Reasonable and accurate, if it was a one year deal. If it was not, then LM response of yes was reasonable and accurate.
