I don't think I've ever cussed out a player more than Hookfin.

HS All American IIRC?

Let me google that...

quote:

Three-time Class 1A All-State selection ... 6-1A All-District selection ... Ranked No. 63 on The Sporting News Top 100 ... Member of the Atlanta Journal Constitution's Super Southern 100, The Advocate's Super Dozen, the Times Picayune Top 20 Blue Chip List, Tiger Rag's Dirty Dozen, Purple & Gold's Great Eight, Louisiana Football Magazine's All-Louisiana Team ... Had three interceptions and one fumble recovery as a senior ... On offense, had 23 receptions for 459 yards with four TDs ... On special teams, returned two punts for TDs ... Helped lead Kentwood to 1A state titles in 1997 and 1998 ... State champion in long jump as a sophomore and junior and state runner-up in the hurdles as a junior

Not quite AA but still highly touted coming out of HS.

If you look at his stats, he did improve by his senior year but I recall him getting scapegoated a number of times.

Hook!
