Some guys are just never going to be consistently healthy. Looks like Loston falls into that category and really can't be counted on this season. Really hurts depth.

Another tidbit from that article
quote:

A number of LSU players have been sporting beards during preseason camp, with various degrees of success. Fullback J.C. Copeland recently boasted to reporters that he has the best beard on the team, a claim that defensive tackle Anthony “Freak” Johnson scoffed at. “Man, I’ve had this beard since I was 12,” Johnson said. “I have the best beard on the team.”

FREAK!

And it sucks that Loston is hurt again wtf

He'll be ready to go. Glad we have good depth at safety, but this isn't a serious injury.

its only a matter of time before he gets dinged during the season and eugene takes his spot and never looks back.

Let's look at this positively, it could just be a precaution. Knowing he's injury prone, the coaches don't want to risk anything in a scrimmage. All in all, how important is his health in the outcome of the season? I think it's huge, Eugene is a good player but Loston has the talent to be a gamechanger.

I'll be in Miami regardless, ticket or no ticket. Will beg, borrow and deal somehow.

But yeah if they hold that same deal again I'll go drink a few.

Martin and Eugene are both freak safeties.

Whoever gets that spot will not give it back.

Hope this is true. I do have high hopes for Loston though. Don't think the toe is that serious though.

Just put him in a green jersey til the season starts. We might at least have him for a game or 2

Toe injuries are tough and unpredictable. I hope he can get healthy enough to play.

A broken toe would be better then a turf toe he could be back for the second game? Washington? If not he should be ready for SEC play
