Corollary to "Voucher athletes ineligible" thread: FOOTBALL RECRUITING

Does anyone realize what is going to happen to football recruiting in the next 5-10 years?
A lot of these public school kids are going to switch to very small private schools, parochial schools, and "storefront" schools established solely to milk the voucher system of every dollar they can to enrich its owners.
These schools will have no legitimate or viable football teams. Therefore, the next Kevin Faulk or Rueben Randle will have NEVER PLAYED football because there was no real opportunity to do so.
If this voucher thing sticks around, I predict dreadful recruiting classes for LSU and other schools starting in about 5 years. Welcome back 1990s!!!
I despise this voucher system for many other reasons besides this, but this is just another reason to hate the voucher system.

On field performance doesn't matter. It just matters how you do in shorts and a T. Camps are all that matter now anyway.

Won't happen. Dumb thread.

Whether you are pro or con on the vouchers, it was literally rammed down the legislature's throats by Bobby. He was in too much of a hurry to get this on his resume for the fall's election & obviously gave little thought to all the possible future ramifications, h.school sports never even entering the picture, obviously. But at least any future athletes will learn that the science of evolution is a hoax according to these new schools.

recruiting been going on for years at private schools. the voucher system makes it easier in the private schools wallet because they wont be taking funds out their bank account to pay for the students.
jindal is paying for them now
